Sat., Nov. 27 for the MVM
Hi everybody, Guess I'm the first one up, eh?
It's windy, cold but sunny here today. DDL and the girls left for NYC early this morning and will be home about midnight. I 'll go to their house and watch Nick from 4:30 till then. Unfortunately there will be no INTERNET time for me because my son's computer is dead. I need more caffeine so I'll be back later. |

Hi Linda and everyone,
Why not fix your son's computer...that would be a real feather in mom's cap. (On that image problem...some pics just won't go into .jpg (don't know why) but I notice that your Xmas tree avatar is one like that. Fiddle with some others; you might not have a problem after all. Weather is a sunny 52 here but they are calling for a real mess tomorrow with over an inch of rain. I guess Loretta and Ginny are getting hit, while Barb is looking at snow...and seems even the Washingtonians are getting some miserable weather. We have pricey theater tickets for tomorrow but I won't go out in a cold November downpour to see the Second Coming, or even the FIRST...not worth 8 weeks of Pamona...Bob will have to sell my ticket! Gonna go for 35 minutes on the stationary bike at 120 BPM...that will be a new high for me. I have a Mince Pie to burn off! Taaa. ![]() (3 years ago I stuck a 1" long leaf segment that I found on the floor into some sand)

Good Saturday Gang!
I PASSED THE "TEST!" Whew! Glad that is over. DD did have some reservations though. I took longer to bed Ella down than she does. Sheesh! The gaul of it eh? DD does know that I am more than qualified to babysit but.....do I do it the exact same way that she does??? I guess, I gotta let her have this thought, until she gets used to someone else taking over her "precious charge." They seemed to have a good time last night, they were gone from 6p.m till 9p.m. just for dinner and a few glasses of wine.....I almost typed WHINE! Yes, it is true that this BB is therapy for us all, no matter what we are experiencing with our families and life in general. I am so grateful that I found you Guys! BTW, I had a whoosh this a.m. and have lost 4lbs in total since returning from FLA. Linda, Thank YOU for the site to get the pics. Now if I can figure out the 'puter language to get thru that! Wow! That is a good suggestion from Roger re fixing the down 'outer! That would sure impress. Roger, Glad to see you posting! Now that mince pie, is that a sweet mince pie or a savoury. We call ground beef, minced beef in the UK. So we have to specify a sweat mince pie. The bike should certainly do the trick! I think I heard on some weather almanac thing that the East Coast is in for a mild winter! Let's hope so! I drove home from DD's last night at 10p.m. and my car was all frosted up. Loretta, Happy 2nd T'Day! Avoid those Family stuff, like Linda, sounds a terrific way to go! Shawnee, Happy 2nd T'Day to you too! I love your new avatar, so cute and so YOU! Jacki, Awwwh! Too bad your Mom went home early. Yes, I dont understand, like Roger said they want to get going early. Hope WE dont end up that way....do you think? Julie, Wishing you well at your appt. on Monday. Hope they give you a good one this time. Do share! Ginny, Sending tender your way, re the MIL concerns.Barb, Whatch up to? Dressin the tree today? What a perfect winter wonderland you must have at your back door! P.S. DH has been on Crestor 20mg for several years now! The warnings re a rare muscle wasting disease has him thinking his leg weakness could be related. He will be trotting of to the docs next week to investigate. He also too VIOXX for years too! Have a wonderful weekend, going over to DD for 5p.m. for another round of testing my skills. I expect more criticism! (sp) Good job I have a hard skin. SuSUN! |

LMAO Roger, ME fix the computer??
Problem with mine is that I could always rt. click on almost any image and save as jpg. I did find these instructions about that BMP problem and did everything except start the registry editor. YIKES! I'm scared so I called the computer guy who will come take a look at it next week.http://www.helpwithwindows.com/WindowsXP/troub-12.html Holy Cow Roger, you have a marvelous green thumb. That Christmas cactus is stunning! Hope the rain holds off long enough for you and Bob to go to the theater. You know the weather forecasts are almost never correct. Susan, we had no doubt that you would pass the "test" with flying colors. New moms are usually too over protective but she will come around eventually.Oh dear heaven!! I sincerely hope your DH's problems will be resolved soon. I just HATE most drugs. Darn pharmaceutical companies don't let the bad test results come to light. It's all about MONEY. Ginny, to your MIL.Shawnee, hope you are enjoying the 2nd turkey day. Barb, let's see some winter wonderland pictures and pictures of your tree. Waving to Loretta, Julie, Jackie Off to get something to eat and hit the road. |

Sure will next time. Thanks for the pic. Brightens up these BB's LOVE minced meat pie!!!!!!! SuSun, hey, it's a good thing you passed the test...what would she have done WITHOUT YOU???? WTG on losing 4 lbs.!!!!!! Hi to all the rest. Check in when you can. Loretta, hope the company all leaves after today and you can collapse. Are they coming back for Christmas again??? Susun,
Make sure that hubby takes 100 mg. CoQ-10 with the statin (any health food store.). There's decent evidence that statin depletion of coenzyme Q-10 is what causes myalgia in some people. I think that it helped my knees and shoulders which may, or may not have been made worse by my Lipitor (must be about 6 years now.) Knees are much better the last year....for NOW at least! ![]() Mine was the SWEET minced pie (raisins, dates, etc. etc..) I've often wondered why they call the fruit mixture "mincemeat."
