Happy Thanksgiving MVM's

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, SKINNY PEOPLE

Linda, I always suspected Jeff Foxworthy was a doof: he hasn't a clue where Lake Saranac is...even I know that and I'm a Pennsy- NJ boy.
Now if it was: "You know you live near Massena...then Bob is the expert" (he was born there.)

A nice, nice day to all (even we winter depressives...got me BAD)
I didn't rain on the parade after all!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Yes, we do have so much to be thankful for here. Even with all the daily trials and tribulations of life, we have it better than most and I'm sure proud to be here!

Julie, home! Glad you had such a wonderful trip! The pics were great, y'all look very relaxed! How did Nick do in the house by himself?

Susan, well, y'all had your T-day earlier, but can certainly enjoy ours too! LOL on the babysitting 'test'--just who does she think helped her out these last few months

Zip, wonder how many of the balloon blowers do the 'helium voice' as they work....glad it didn't rain on y'all's parade!

Linda, so was the T-dinner planned as legal or was there such a variety you could keep it legal?

Loretta, good for the DS helping his dad with some projects! Enjoy your get-together!

Barb, we always had live trees when I was a kid--we had a tree farm so ours were just a drive, choice, and saw away! The neighbor kids thought it was way cool I got my OWN tree in my bedroom! Of course, that was many years ago in a galaxy far away, and I now sport an artificial tree when I get the gumption to set it up

Shawnee, enjoy your family's gatherings! Good for you not doing (much) tasting!

Jacki, check in when you get a chance, and enjoy your day!

This Thanksgiving for us will be the 3 of us, no plans with others and dinners. That is a plus for the old waistline!!!

If y'all don't mind, please keep some good thoughts for my MIL. She is in the hospital with double pneumonia currently, and that's a hard thing for an 80 yr old to shake. There is a lot of family up there with her as a cheering section, so we don't foresee a need to make a trip and can do our thing via the phone.

Once again, Happy Thanksgiving to ALL! Hope everyone has a fun, relaxing time....and

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!

Sending good thoughts and safe travels.

Ginny will keep your MIL in my thoughts.

Zip thanks for the cartoon.

Linda thanks for passing on that laugh from Jeff Foxworthy. He has Ky pretty pat.

Susun no tubes for Leah's ears YET. I think I will forget the tablecloth, it looks too complicated even the easy ones.

Barb glad you posted in the correct time on the Eve of Thanksgiving.

Julie enjoy the day with DD and Nick all who show up.

Shawnee Don't drop those desserts.

Later if able.

All is well here...we are headed to my brothers for the feast. I was there a few minutes ago to have a cup of coffee with my brother and mom. YIKERS!! It was before 9am and her turkey is done and out of the oven...sitting on the table in a glass dish. Now we don't eat until 1pm or so----probably 2pm so, who wants a serving of food poisoning?????? NOT me!!! I also am making a turkey---thank goodness---that will NOT be set out all morning just waiting for some unsuspecting person to have a nice little tastie. Well, enough about my holiday worries about my mother's cooking. It's a tradition!

I hope all y'all have a wonderful day full of family, love and food.

Happy Thanksgiving

HAPPY THANKSGIVING AGAIN Y'ALL!

I had to work today, plain old day. I had a presentation this aft between 1p.m. and 2p.m. It was 2:30p.m. before I was done with all the questions and I was trying to pack up as I talked.
I had to go back to the office.

That's it for my work week now! Yippppeeeee!

DH and I just had sole for supper with assorted veggies. I am down another 1/2lb. So the Florida and Granbrat celebrations over indulging is coming off! I hope I can keep it up for a tad longer, always helps to extra light at the Christmas holidays.

Julie,
LOVED your Dog and Cat conversation!

Loretta,
Great news, no tubes for Leah!
Yep, it could take a while to complete a tablecloth.
I have asked for a sewing machine for Christmas. DH is lost. I said a straight sewer type, no bells and whistles. I already have an old singer portable, sometimes it runs okay and sometimes not! Did you recommend a Brother? I may wait till after Christmas as they jack the prices up dont they?

Ginny,
Did ya make a bid on eBay for the Grilled Cheese???? Sold for $28,000.00 to a Cdn Casino.
LOL! on your comments about DD.
She is concerned with Ella's feelings if she doesn't put her to bed.
I have not been around at bedtime for quiet a while.

Roger,
Lovely Pic Pilgrim!

Wavin to the rest of gang feasting today!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING NIGHT!!!

We went out into the woods to kill a tree. This is how it goes ---
we can't get very far, even in 4-wheel drive because of the snow and mud -- so we park and walk out to find the perfect tree. I find it right away and then stand there with the ax until DH goes through the rest of the woods and comes back and says -- this it it!! Happens this way every year!!

Dinner was great -- still need to eat dessert!

Thanks for the cartoons and the great company this year.

We are heading for the biggest shopping day tomorrow!! Have a good one.

Barb

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

It was a rather laid back day here. I did visit my dd and mom then took a trip to wally world and was totally amazed that there were hardly any people there. Even got a parking place right outside of the door. Wow!! Now I won't go near that place until after Christmas unless it's in the middle of the night.

Roger, sorry the blues have you in their grip. Get thy butt out in the sun or under those bathroom lights.

LOL Jeff was a tiny bit off about Saranac Lake but otherwise hit the nail on the head.

Ginny, the dinner wasn't planned low carb but there was turkey and vegetables and some sf cranberry sauce for us to enjoy as well as the pumpkin layer cheese cake and lc brownies I took.

Thoughts for your mother in law. Hopefully she will recover soon and completely. My mom had pneumonia last year and it's difficult for those old gals.

Loretta,

Too bad that table cloth looks too complicated. Maybe a project for Feb. when there isn't much else to do?
Hope you enjoyed your dinner and aren't too exhausted.

Jackie, OY!! Did anyone ever tell her how to avoid food poisoning? That would scare the chit out of me. LOL I would have taken that bird and plunked it into the refrigerator asap. Anyway, hope no one got sick.

Susan, lol your poor daughter has a lot to learn about babies, eh?
Sorry you had to work today but glad it's over and you have a three day weekend coming up.

Shawnee, come on and tell us all about your wonderful dinner and those fabulous desserts you made.

Barb, how do you do it? I gave up the trudging through the woods for a tree a few years after we moved here in 1986. Just couldn't deal with all the needles.
Hasn't your DH learned yet that your first choice is the best? Maybe he just likes being out there in winter wonderland.

Julie, come on in an tell us about your day.
