Friday the 22
Where is that Zip?
Thanks for the orkids pictures Ginny. Looks like a beautiful bunch of new gals to add to the collection. Wonderful colors. Shawnee now you have done it. I will have to try at least two or three of the peanut butter recipes. They all lood great. I'll just leave out the chocolate in some. I will be busy for a while with that selection. Have you tried using your muffin top pans for them where it says cupcake papers or would they be too big? I think I have some small muffin size pans here somewhere. NOW WE'RE COOKING!!!!! Barb I'm suprised at your lasagne and 2 big rolls and SUGAR. Whoa there gal. Where are you going? Thought you were taking your own lunch from home. Julie does your DH ever not find it in his realm to get something fixed? Must be the engineer in him. I seem to have turned into the fixer here. I love the challange. But for somethings I just don't have the strength. Linda how is that DD of your doing? There is a program that came with the cd writer and I guess I need to go there first to make a cd or add to a current one. I don't have it all worked out yet. But it is fast, I did manage to copy my entire recipe file. Jackie you sure must have to get up early. Those hours are nice though. Hope you get awarded the job. I will say some prayers. Sorry you are having trouble sleeping. Hope you can get that worked out. We see the doc today and maybe DH can get a peek at his thumb. He has been being too active with his hand in my estimation. He has been cleaning the paint out of some of his new fishing jigs. He has to to be able to thread the line. Leah took two steps on her own last night. DIL called to tell me a short time ago Hey to Susun!!!

Sorry Barb
I knew it was out of line for you. I agree with you about the school lunches being way over carbed. They are trying to do things about it in our local system. ![]() |

Hi Y'all
.....school lunches: potatoes, pasta, starchy stuff is cheaper than the "good for ya" stuff, so...... Barb, I know you didn't stay faithful on your Summer trek, only to blow it now on yuk carbs. ![]() Today is cold, wet, blustery....thinking bout making Pumpkin Cookies. Saw a recipe on the Recipe Help Board by a good baker, but alas, ingredients not in my cupboard. Time to improvise. Loretta, re recipe pans: smaller is better. ![]() Hope your DH does get a peek...must be maddening, wanting to "see" what's going on under that bandage. Julie, must be exciting, anticipating the BIG TRIP! Goddess, the first pic of the delicate, fragile beauty blew me away. A rare treat for the eyes. Zip, I was thinking of you while getting out spices for the cookies I may possibly make...CARDAMOM ! Hey to Montana, SuSUN, Jacki. Be back later. Shawnee |

Hi everyone.
Haven't been on line today except for a few minutes this morning. My computer guy came and installed that extra memory and has this thing running like a top at high speed. Whew!! Now I hope one of us doesn't screw it up again. He did put in Roadrunner's firewall and anti virus system for us to try since it's free for subscribers but took down my pop up stopper. Said we shouldn't need it with this program so we shall see. I don't much like change Loretta, thanks for asking. My DD is doing OK but may be laid off soon for the season. Darn it all. Hope your DD got to peek at that thumb. So how did he make out at the doctors? Ginny, I agree that the photographs of the new "kids" were a treat for these old eyes. Gosh you are fortunate to be so talented in that dept. Julie, you are very fortunate to have a DH who can fix most anything. Gerard works on the cars and other stuff which saves a ton of money AND we know it's done right. Barb, I totally agree that the school lunch programs and all those vending machines in schools are really harming the kids. How very sad. Shawnee, pumpkin cookies?? Yummm. Best get into my baking mode now that the weather has turned bad. Waving to Roger, SuSun, Jackie, and lurkers. back later. |
