Hey gang,

Just a quick start for the day here. Jacki and Julie, thanks for the pics. Gotta get my butt in gear to post a couple of my own. Hope all is well with Loretta and DH!

Y'all have a good day and I'll check back later as time permits....

Hi gang,

We three had a nice day yesterday and saw a good movie THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE. There are some holes in the plot but I think Meryl Streep will pick up another Oscar. Liev Schreiber is his usual brilliant self.
The movie is a clever, edge of your seat thriller.

Bob was called in today so it's been a quiet day for me: I did the Mall this morning and I'll do the Gym this afternoon. A lovely day yesterday turned back to our summer MURK with gluey humidity and incessant threat of showers.

A good day to you alll.

Hi all. Not much to report today. Went out and watered all the flowers and veggies. Later today my dgrson is coming to spend the night. He's big enough to handle a shovel maybe I'll put that to good use. LOL

Julie, I loved the dog show photos.

Waving at everyone.

Afternoon all.......

We USUALLY have nice days but today we DON"T have gluey humidity but an incessant threat of showers!! We are getting into the monsoon season -- our only chance for rain!!

We had our infamous admin. mtg. this morning and I'm still alive and kicking (at what I won't say). Everyone's job description is set and I hope that some of these "turkeys" can keep up!

Nonetheless, I went home and took a nap -- stress just makes me tired.

Loretta, anxious to hear what's happening and thinking of you and yours.

Someone actually fell from hiking one of our 14,000 footers here in CO -- quite close to us. He was only 33. Several jeeps have also gone over the edge on some jeep trails and killed a number of "foreigners" defined as someone from out of state who think they can drive a jeep over a mountain.

Hope you are all enjoying the day...... evening beckons.

Barb

Hi everyone,

It was one of those darn "wake up after 4 hrs sleep nights" for me so I didn't do much. Took Dakota pup for a walk then came home and took a nap.

Has anyone heard from Loretta? I'm getting really concerned about her DH.

Ginny, we are all looking forward to those pictures.

Roger, That summer murk and oppressive humidity is blanketing this area too. UGH, it's nasty. AND the mosquitoes are fierce!

So the Manchurian Candidate was good, eh? I read the book a few years ago and enjoyed it..

LOL Jackie, enjoy that "slave labor" Does your DGS know that he will be put to work?

Waving to everyone else.
