Ive set a new goal.
HI guys. I havent posted here much but Ive been maintaining my goal weight for quite some time now. (5 months or so).
Im still not totallly 'comfie" at my size (Im still a bit ';jiggly!LOL)...and I would like to set another goal and lose another 5 lbs now (maybe 10 who knows!?) I mightve asked you all this question before but.. Do you think I should go back to INDUCTION LEVEL carbs again to lose this weight? or.. Strict induction? or... just cut back on my calories and carbs a bit?? (Right now I eat between 25-35 carbs a day and around 1300-1600 calories per day). Im 5ft 1 and weigh 133-135 (it varies daily. ) I dont do much excersize right now. I do walk about 2-3 times a week and do some light weights.I spose what Im asking is although its a personal YMMV thing what would you all do if you were me?? ![]() Thanx so much! Michelle

HI Michelle
Congrts on getting that weight off and maintaining for 5 months. You might try to increase you exercise if that is possible. You will need those calories, so leave them alone. If you cannot increase the exercise, lower the calories. Eat more frequent small meals to keep hungar at bay. How about water? Are you drinking enough of that daily, at least 8, 8 ounce glasses? |

If it were me, I would go back to induction level carbs and increase the exercise, intensity and frequency if possible. And if that didn't work I would go back to strict induction. Remember, even at induction levels weight loss is slower when you have little to lose.
Congrats on your maintenance and good luck with those last few pounds! |
