Sat. Aug 7 for the VM's
Good morning everyone.
It's a cool 57 degrees again today but it feels absolutely wonderful! Scattered showers later though. DH just put a turkey in the oven so that's what we will have for dinner with some salad or vegetables. I'm off to the only camera repair place I can find to see if they can fix the digital. UGH! Loretta, Talk to me about your new camera, OK? We may very well need to get a new one. Susan, I agree with Shawnee and Julie. Babies do pick up on mom's stress. Hopefully she isn't picking her up the minute she "squeaks". They do need to cry a bit. Shawnee, Oh yes, I remember the article in your paper about the huge garage sale. Have fun poking around with your friend. I'm working up the courage to order that flour. ![]() Julie, Can't say as I blame your DH for getting a little tired of woodworking if he has been asked to do a lot of it for family. Sometimes the pressure of that takes the fun out. Share some pictures of his street rod. Roger, do you have any recommendations for a new camera? You are always on top of those things. Consumer reports rate the Kodak camera pretty well. Waving to Ginny, Barb, Jackie More later. Edited to add the news story about the festival. http://www.pressconnects.com/today/t...4s109019.shtml Last edited by LoveMontana : 08-07-2004 at 09:42 AM. |

Hi everybody,
Going to the theater this afternoon, WAITING 2 END HELL, (kinky title?) and back to CURRY IN A HURRY for a repeat of last Saturday's excellent meal. Linda, Shucks, when you told me that you bought a Kodak digicam, it was already a fait accompli. Otherwise I'd have said DON'T. When asked about Kodak digicams, most people say they make a nice FILM camera...like the review of the HP cameras said: Definitely buy an HP PRINTER... ![]() ![]() Sorry it's broken and it's probably not worth the cost of fixing. Gotta run downstairs to steam and shower before I go...let the GYM wwash my towels We checked the auto processor at TARGET...I THINK I can generate a 6 pack of 2x2's on a 4x6 for $.49 for each of us. We'll do the photo shot tomorrow morn....PAGING Mr. Avedon (he can even get SKINNY shots of Liz Taylor)! Julie, Luck to Nick More tomorrow. ![]()

Hi to all
Zip are going going to into one of those photo machines where the pics come out on a roll through a slot? I like my Kodak. Did you have one before you got your current camera? What problems were there with it? Linda we had cool weather here this am too, 60s. I took advantage of it and did some weed wacking and picked the garlic. We have a nice bunch of the garlic. Wish I knew a better way to store it. I tried putting it chopped up in some olive oil but the oil froze in the fridge. I might just chop it up and put it in some water and store it in the fridge. Last year I just left it out and it dried up. Turkey, boy that sounds great. I tried a new recipe WHITE CASTLE PIE. It was great to me, but I always liked those "slidders". Thanks for the festival news. Great fun. later, folks L retta |

Hi Y'all
After a cool, damp start, the morning (mostly) dried out, and we hit the Sale Trail. We gabbed so much, bargain hunting was secondary...still, managed to find some treasures...I spent around a whopping $10, and had $1,000 worht of entertainment. Ran into lots of friends, which required more gabbing ![]() Friend with me is putting finishing touches on log home she and her DH (building contractor) have built themselves on nights and weekends over the last two years. I enjoyed helping her find antiques and old stuff to give it the right touches. ( She had her Gramma's furniture, etc in storage...which was broken into and stolen)...can't replace the family stuff, but try to find similar things. Sun is out nicely, we will be going back into the Nineties. Cameras: Mine is a Kodak, identical to Loretta's....a 3.1 pixel. Easyshare CX6330. SuSun's is similar, I think a 3.2.... love mine. ![]() I paid $199 about 6-8 months back, Loretta paid less than me after that...now it can be bought for approx. $150. I bought an extended warrenty, so it has another 2 1/2 years coverage...then if it goes, they will probably be down to $50...or a newer version will make this one really obsolete. Julie, I sure understand your DH's reluctance....cause to use one's talents for enjoyment is fun and relaxing. When it becomes a chore to please others, there goes the enjoyment. Time to go check out the yard. Shawnee |

Hi Y'all,
Whooohoooo! Had a wonderfully relaxing day, a long soak in the tub, took my time to do my hair, followed by a relaxing browse around the shops, the bank, then, home for a nutritious LC supper. I had chicken, with a mixed salad, a variety of peppers, lettuces and slivered almonds, followed by plain yogurt and blueberries with a dash of splenda. Relaxed with a meditation tape too, so "zoned out" around 6:30p.m, hence why I am up typing at this time. Feel totally re-charged after the long work week! LOL! Yes, DD is feeding on demand, as all the health experts suggest, so that her milk supply with multiply. Baby Ella is a month old tomorrow. I can hardly believe it. I only have 3 more weeks off work, YUK then I have to return! Don't wanna go back!It has been a tad cooler up here but the Sun was out today and I was still comfortable to be out in capris and a tee shirt. Valuing my freedom! Wavin to y'all. SuSUN! ![]() |
