Friday, June 18 for MVM's

Hey gang,

Won't have time to post later in the morning, so thought I'd start us off now

Hell night (usually Thursdays are really busy!) turned out to be a very calm, easy night. Go figure! I got everything done and got out of there on time, so I'm a happy camper! All your well wishes for a good night worked I'll have to ask for that more frequently.

Jacki, on your first day of FREEDOM!!! Enjoy it to the fullest! What will you do first...besides sleep in, that is? Love the pics of the gbrats--I bet they're tickled to have you available now during the summer!

Loretta, great pics of your gbrats too! Such good looking young'uns you and Jacki have! I do wish we had central air here, but this old house has no ductwork, and no where for it to be run. However, this does make us keep the windows open more and really wait before we turn on the a/c.

Shawnee, as always, gorgeous pics you have on display! One of these days when I have time, I'll have to do a bit more pic posting of the furkids and 'chids. Seems like never enough time for everything!

Zip, you've trimmed off a lot of fat content there. However, I'm with Linda, I'll let a massive coronary take me quick. My family history on my Dad's side has heart trouble (he died of a heart attack at age 52) but my Mom's side is quite healthy so maybe they will counteract each other. We'll see!

Linda, I've never lived in a house with central air. I really would rather have the windows open, but when it comes to the hard heat of the south I'll bite the bullet. Especially for sleeping or when I'm cooking. I sweat, but that's cheaper than the electric bill! Sure hope you have a chance to get close enough for a visit! Let me know, would love to meet you 2!

Julie, glad your reunion went well, but so sad for your comatose cousin. I would really be ticked if DH chose to keep me alive like that. Oak Ridge is about 4 hours away from us, up in the eastern tip of TN. Much closer to the pig roast that Linda will be at.

Susan, way cool on the new digicam! I think your DH did very well. Especially when I figure in the difference from CDN to US currency. Now, what toys do you have with it? Gotta get it figured out, cuz by my reckoning you only have 12 days!

Well, all, off to bed for me! Everyone have a fun and content day!

Hi Y'all

Well, Ginny...for once, its nice to receive what ya ask for; glad the work went well...anticipation is worse than the actual event, huh?

Hotter than Hades here...being a Bum today. AC running, and I'm gagging lollies as fast as I can.

I see Zip didn't notice you had already started us up for the day...guess I'll be double-posting.

Glad ya liked the slideshow...will be great when ya find time to show off your Treasures !!

Have a good one.

Shawnee

Geesh Ginny no central air. You are not that far from us here in Ky. Don't know how we would manage especially at night without some cooling. Do you have a window ac in the bedroom at least? We really do not keep our house that cool but a little cooling is very nice especially for humidity control. Glad to hear that your work night went well. Sometimes it is best to be prepared for the worst.

Shawnee hotter than Hades here too. 90 with high humidity. I spent a lot of time in the car today driving for "spirits" Your display of photos was amazing. I know have your roses on my pc desktop. What a beautiful shot!!!!!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks too for the chigger info from your friend. I have just finished up with a real bout of them, at least 10 on one leg, up and down the entire leg. I was trimming weeds out of the day lilies. I did spray myself first but those critters just like me.
I will give the aspirin a try. That itch is just so deep and intense.

Going over to post on Zips thread now.
