Star Tunia sure is a patient pup to be all gussied up like that. What a lovable looking pet, looks like she is ready to shake hands and say "nice to meet ya". Thanks for the pic, Jackie.
Those last few days will go in a hurry for you.

Ginny thanks for the inviting porch scene. That lounge looks just grand. The surrounding scenery is a sight to behold. How calming. Save me a seat. Shey is getting to be an adult now. How fast they grow. Those orkids are beautiful. Such photo expertiese also. That new store is very close to you.

SuSUN now that the shower is done we can get serious about the countdown. WIll you be taking some time off from work so you can be with DD and Ella? Little Leah was quite fussy yesterday and you could tell that her ear was still bothering her. She is not well yet. I thought she would recover faster.

Shawnee what would you do with the Steelheads if Bob did get any? Is that a mild eating fish? How many more batches of yogurt have you made? Does it make a bunch at a time? Can we make this fat free? I don't even have a light in my oven.
That's ok, not sure if I want to try.

Zip must have gotten tangled up in that PC again.

Not much going on here.
I enjoyed all the pictures from everybody of late. I wish it weren;t such a slow grind to go through the Photosites (but for Free, it's hard to argue.)

Probably shouldn't say that, it's not my day on these bb today. Already got into it over on the new challenge thread. Guess I was being a bad cop, just trying to spur some of them on to losing weight again. Linda, you warned me. Nobody listens!! One of these days I'll learn to just keep my trap shut. I thought thats what this bb was all about though. Losing and maintaining weight. I'll shut up but I have a hard time doing that.

Ginny, those orkids are gorgeous too. Thanks for the pics. Love that porch and new swing. I always wanted a porch but never got it. I can just see you on a Sunday morning, reading the paper, drinking a cup of coffee, with DH and pup beside you.

Hi gang.

Been running all over today and got my IRS form straightened out very easily. Thank heavens. Boy it's gotten warm around here and at 9 PM it's still in the high 70's. Tomorrow it will be in the low 90's. UGH!!

Jackie, Star is a beautiful pup. How cute with the flowers in the bandanna.

Ginny, LOL Shey can sit in my lap anytime. He is about 20 lbs lighter than Dakota who thinks he's a lap dog.

Can we all come and have a virtual porch party on that lovely porch? It looks so peaceful and pretty.

Susan, glad you survived the shower. It must have been very nice with all that good food. <smack> for eating that cake though.

Shawnee, sorry Bob didn't get any steel heads. Maybe you should go and show him how it's done.

Loretta, sorry the Pig Roast is so far from you. It would have been fun to meet.

Yogurt isn't hard to make at all and yes you can use low fat milk. Maybe that Hoods brand of LC or mix half and half with water?? You just need a 60 watt light bulb attached to a drop light or something without a shade. I plug mine in next to the stove and just close the oven door on the cord.

Julie, I'll run off to see who you Pi$$ed off on that thread soon, but don't let it bother you. I just gave up trying to help most of them. If I put my two cents in and someone doesn't like it, I just don't reply again.
Well to be truthful, I very seldom have e mail notifications sent to my e mail and almost never go back to read threads. This one is the exception.

Roger, take a few Valium and some ibuprofen and rest tomorrow.

Have you and Bob thought about any trips this summer? You two still have a standing invitation to visit us.

Julie, I just read the thread and didn't see where anyone was upset. It's sometimes difficult to get the feel of a conversation when posting on a bb. Just develop a hard, tough skin like this old broad has managed to do and blow it off..

Awww gee Linda!! I get a little too sensitive sometimes. I talked to Janie on the phone after that. See I even did it to Babette too. I was a little upset w DGS this morning. We had yet another long talk today. LOL He's doing fine. He'll fluorish here with us. Not that we are that great but being away from his mom I mean.

So what if we ask you a question on one of the threads, you'll never know!!

Sure could use some help with that 2x4!! Come often and at least back me up like you did tonight. Some of these people need it daily!! Appreciate your help! I'll continue until I get really pi$$ed off and do like you do.

Hello Gang!

Here I am recovering, had a decompression day after the shower.
It was gorgeous today up here sunny and high 70's. Tomorrow is gonna be a hot one 31C or more! DD said to go over to use the pool. DH put the Air on today in readiness.

So sorry Leah is having ear ache. Those antibiotics should be kicking in soon to cure that.
Yes, I am taking two weeks off with DD but I may ask to go on a reduced work week, like a day a week after that for a couple of months till the end of the summer at least. Gotta see how flexible they will be with me.

If you are having NICE weather, please share...wet and chilly here. My Toms think its Winter!

Loretta...Bob did get a steelhead bout 10 days back, a 10 lb one. They are kinda like a streamlined salmon, and taste fishy to me.

I took a 3 lb chunk of it, filled the cavity with Onion powder, lemon slices, liberal splash of Teriyaki sauce....Pam-sprayed some foil and sealed that critter tight...onto the grill, lid closed , med heat...for about an hour.

Smell of it roasting stayed outside

Make that Yoggie as FF as ya like...I'd suggest a small batch first to see if its your thing

Our weather has gone bananas...had a small tornado yesterday 10 mi. South of here and a couple small ones in OR today...that makes about a dozen in the PNW this year...a friend in OK, who's used to twisters, said they had an Earthquake yesterday...she's NOT used to that!
