Hey gang,

Sorry about the MIA for a couple days. Thursday our ISP was kablooey with a server out somewhere, and then Friday was my normal busy run-to-town morning. Finally got home from work and had a chance to check email! Ahhhhh, it's a weekend, and the week from he11 is over!

Linda, thx for the pics! Gbrat Nicholas and Gfurbrats are gorgeous!

Shawnee and Jacki, heading to higher ground yet? Stay dry!

Loretta, hope all is going well. Still have company?

Susan, bet you'll sure be glad to have DH back!

Zip, congrats on the whoosh, but WTH did you do the chocolates? That's a double whammy for you with the migraines too isn't it?

Very early morning to all......

Getting ready to take off for airport, leaving this nice sunny weather for rainy windy midwest!!

We finally got re-organized at work and I have a nice new office and two assistants who should prove to be very good. We consolidated down to two buildings to save money. We have to move a couple of multi-handicapped kiddos and that's a chore. ADA compliance is always biting at our throats!!

Good Morning Ginny, Barb and Roger,

I was up at 7ish. Started some long awaited reading this morning. Feel better that is done. Can't seem to read now without a couple of colored markers in my hand.

Just getting the house in order before DH arrives this evening.

I have an appointment for waxing and toe nail polish at 1p.m. Then, the Mall, some groceries, bank etc... Not much else goin on!

We have gorgeous sunny weather right now, not too hot with a high of 16C this aft.

Sorry I jumped the gun with the other thread; I usually figure that at 7AM EDT, I'm first! LOL

Ginny,
Bob finally hid half the bag after I ate most of the hard dark chocolate. Mysteriously I escaped the headache and the stuff that's left is Milk Chocolate and Crackle and Mr. Goodbar....not my cup of tea. I like it black and hard!

We strolled to the A&P and bought almost nothing (a bottle of vanilla)....day is delightfully sunny and mild. Resting is fun...but I have to put the Adapted CD-RW softare in before I can retrieve most of my back-up data off a Re-Recordable Disc.

Just returned home from the RT at the Mall!

Had my waxin and toe nail polish done. Feel a summer clean gal now. They have just started doing the spray tanning there. I tried to book an appointment on my days off next week. You have to book 2 weeks in advance. Guess 'tis the season!
Got my necessary errands done! I too, bought vanilla today Roger.

Did you manage a bike ride today?

Glad ya didn't git the migraine after the dark choc! Although if ya did, it would kinda work like aversion therapy eh?

Jumpin the Gun is allowed at that hour of the mornin. I was up too at 7a.m. but not ready to post anything.

Question for you, I went to buy Tapioca pearls today. My supermarket only had two types, minute tapioca and gluten free.
Is this okay to make the recipe with? I could try another one tomorrow. I did buy some plain natural yogurt to make the mock rice puddin.

I have been going thru quite a bit of cream of late.

You must be plum tuckered out after the cleanin shift! Do give yourself some TLC now!

A couple more hours and I will be off the airport to pick up DH!
