VINTAGE MAINTAINING THURSDAY
Hi everybody,
We are going to see TROY tonight to use up our passes. It's supposed to be MUCH HOLLYWOOD; LITTLE HOMER. Oh well, all the reviews say the beefcake is really something! Today I will load the Soundcard Softwware and the CallWave (I'm SURE I missed a million phine calls while I was online all day yesterday...nothing more, I'll take it piecemeal over the next week. It messed with my sleep last night. Julie, The info about your DGS must have passed through the mail. I'm in the dark- what did he DO? Enjoy having him with you and do something special. Linda, What are you going to do with your day off? Jacki, Give Romeo a kiss for me I had a great diet day yesterday (1890 calories) and a good workout and this morning smelled the "burnt woodchips" pee...but alas, up a pound. The whoosh is in there but it will make me wait til it's good and ready. ShopRite catchup and a mosey to check the Waterfront Walkway Opening (and snacks) at 10AM. Our mayor (AND State Senator), Glenn Cunningham, was 60 and got chest pains Tuesday evening and was pronounced dead after an hour at the hospital. Greedy guy ran for that second job (sounds illegal to me) and kept both so that his triple pension would be whoop-dee-do (he also retired as chief of police!)....God LOVES to giggle at these grand plans. (He'd gained plenty of weight the last 2 years!) ps...I'm getting SOOO sick of the routine "terror alerts" every Holiday weekend. They missed THE BIG ONE and all this made-up political nonsense won't make up for that.

Hi Roger,
I'm sure that whoosh will arrive soon. Hang in there. Troy has been advertised here too, but I haven't been to a real movie in years. Let us know how you like it. At least you got the computer up and running despite all that work. If I ever need to do that, your phone will be ringing ![]() Take your camera and share some pictures of that new walkway will you please? LOL we think of 60 as young but it really isn't, is it? Poor Cunningham, I hope he found a way to take that fat pension with him. Actually I'm surprised that we haven't been hit by another attack already. Those people have hated us for years and years and want us all on prayer rugs and in burkas. Not much on my agenda today. I'm off to let muttly pup out and wander around a bit while the sun is out. More thunder storms are predicted for this evening. Linda |

Sorry Roger, I've posted so much on the GY that I thought I had here. DGS was caught at school with pot, scale, and his paycheck money he just got. He did have a receipt for cashing his pay check but someone ratted on him and they arrested him for possession and intent to sell. Not good. Spent 3 days in jail and is now out, first offense, until his court date July 8, sentencing Aug.? His mom won't let him live back at home so he's staying with us. Better than on the streets. He's basically a good kid deep down but got influenced with a bad crowd at his old job at MickeyD's. He knows he screwed up his life totally. we've been talking to him about he has to change his whole life, friends, job, school etc. Hopefully this will be a wake up call. We're sure doing our best to see to it but it all is on his shoulders. He'll see his attorney today.
Let us know about "Troy" DGS wants to see it. I'll go with him but sure want your opinion. Linda of so few words today!!! So whats up with you? Are you ok?

My heart goes out to you and your DGS Julie. Hopefully the attorney will give him some good advice. People not emotionally involved can usually talk some sense into them.
Not a thing wrong here hun. I've just been busy. OK here goes..LOL you all will get sick of these pictures. Nicholas all scrunched up in his carrier. ![]() His dog, Niko ![]() Dakota....all 80 plus lbs. of him ![]() One more and that's it, I promise ![]() Last edited by LoveMontana : 05-27-2004 at 02:57 PM. |

Hi Ya!
Second day of work over, just tomorrow, then pick DH up at the airport on Saturday night! Linda, What an adorable pic of lil Nicholas Peter! Good for you. A whole week off work. I would think I had gone to heaven, if that happened to me! I am secretly planning to reduce my work week to two days or even one when Ella arrives. I have booked the first two weeks off, not sure if I will want to go back that quickly. Shawnee, No $$ bets just a cyber bet so July 3rd taken by Shawnee! DS has July 4th earmarked. I have 4th and 11th. I feel it will be a Sunday. DH has taken July 10th and DSIL has July 3rd too. Any more takers, 6 weeks to go! She is 34 weeks today and she is getting irritable, not sure if it is the hormones or lack of sleep. She is very uncomfortable some nights, the little one kicking under the ribs or standing on her bladder. I have to buy some Tapioca pearls to try that recipe yet! Do you know how many carbs are in the sugar free coconut. I put it in Fitday and it came up a whole cup 95 carbs but it only stated sweetened. Grrr! Roger, Check out that Helen of TROY! Is this where they have the wooden horse.......senior moments coming too often these days! Enjoy....hopefully! Hope you get the whooosh soon! You have earned it! Gotta go and get sorted for work tomorrow, last day this week TGIF! Barb you must be almost there, and Jacki 14 days to go or less? SuSUN! ![]() Last edited by SuSUN : 05-27-2004 at 06:44 PM. |

Hi everyone. Count down is 14 salt mine get ups.
Zip, I ain't kissin Romeo for you..... Linda, that is one sweet looking baby. So precious!! Julie....I understand your worries with your DGS. Our son was in trouble about that age and it makes you heart sick to see them make dumb mistakes that will follow them for a long time. Used to when kids made unwise choices and got caught...there was more leeway for it to become a learning lesson and their lives were not so impacted in the longrun like it is now. It's a tough situation. I hope he learns his lesson and doesn't let it discourage him. He is young and can pull himself around this. Man O Man did it pour down rain here today. There were even a couple tornados (can you believe that??? Here in the PNW???) Saturday my DD and I are taking grson and grdaughter to see Shreck II. Should be fun!!! Have a good evening. ![]() |

Hi Y'all
Wet and wild here today. WA had its 4th and 5th Tornadoes this Spring...one was S. of here about 20 miles. Neither was too severe...guess I'd think it was damned severe tho if it had been our place destroyed. I'm not liking this increase ; the PNW is known for its flooding and earthquakes...don't wanna add tornadoes too. Many of my rosebushes are knocked down from heavy rains. Luckily, they will rebound when the weather turns warm again. Montana, WOWIE ![]() ![]() ...Peter is a gorgeous doll ...and your GPups are all adorable. HUGS to them all.SuSUN...ahhh, the joys of pre-motherhood....how I do remember the bachaches and rib -kicks ![]() Check here for dried, unsweetened Coconut carb count; its for 100 g. ...so I think 100 g is a dab over 3/4 Cup. (Lotza Fiber in that stuff! )http://www.carb-counter.org/nutrition/12108 We start the annual rounds of cemetery decorating tomorrow. Hope everyone has a safe, sane, and content weekend.
