VINTAGE MAINTAINERS on Saturday

Happy Weekend everybody,

Seems as long as I stay online I can KEEP online....as soon as I sign off I must reload all the software...

REFORMAT coming so I'll be gone for several days.

Tonight we are ushering for a show called BARE (only way to get to see it cheaply...like FREE- It's a hot ticket.

Weather is a sticky goo but at least no higher than the mid 80's...time to find my tube of Lamisil! I've always said that if I die in the summer I'd best be buried fast lest I turn to a mass of green fluff! I can get jockrash by merely SHOPPING for an athletic supporter.

Off to the A&P.

Hi to all

WE have that warm and humid weather here too, Zip and the chiggers are just eating me up. They must like something in my blood. Must be close to your problem with needing the Lamisil.

Shawnee I don't see too much of Spot lately. Every once in a while he joins me for a walk but not every day.
Too bad about that rainy weather there for your weekend.

back Julie. Glad you had a nice trip. Bet Bo was sure happy to see you.

HAPPY QUEEN VICTORIA BIRTHDAY SuSun. Will you all be celebrating there with special activities?

Hey to Barb, Linda, Jackie, Ginny.

Loretta
Cleaning the rest of my berries today and making that Almond Cheese cake for the pastor for his Monday gab fest with other priests. They also have a support group. I think that is a great idea for them.

Good morning Magnifecent Ones!! Cool misty day here in the PNW. DH left this morning to help a pal work on Pal's Mom's house. Repair project so that left li'l ol' me to my own devices. Hmmmm, should I find an early morning movie to watch???---noooo, Hmmmmmm---maybe read my book???......nope----I'll try going back to sleep for a bit!! Good Idea!!!! ummmmmmm---nope, no go there either. SO, got my patootie up, dressed and went to Curves!!! That worked!! I'm still going down, albiet a pound or two but steady loss. In six weeks I've gone down 10-12 lbs. Water retention is plagueing me so one day it's 10lbs one day it's 12. But!! Hey!! I'm losing!!!

Salt Mine count down is now 19 work 'get ups'. I think I can I think I can I think I can.

What to do with the rest of the day??? No money so I can't go shopping.......laundry? dishes? vacuuming???? Awwww, H E double hockey sticks.

I'm just checking in and letting you know I'm back. Had some bad news on our return and haven't all the details yet so will wait on that. We had a super time and didn't lose but a few dollars. Played penny slots and won at Keno. Met 2 other couples there and had a nice reunion. Drove 13 hours to get home in one day so am really tired and trying to wade through my 160 email, doing laundry, mail and papers. Later gang.

Congrats on that weight loss Jacki. Proud of you girl.

Hello Magnificient Ones!

It is good to see you all posting again! It was a tad cooler again up here today. The sun was out this monring but we are on a promise of Rain for the whole long weekend!

Went shopping with DD today, we are totally out of control, spending on this little one who is not here yet! Yikes!

Julie,
Welcome back, glad you didn't lose your shirt!

Jacki,
Great News on those lbs gone! Yipppppeeeee!
I hear ya on those countdown days. Good for you!
Gotta do those chore myself over the next few rainy days!

Loretta,
Does your priest know the cake is low carb? Seems like a good idea they have a support group and a gab fest time!
What are chiggers?
Thank you on the best wishes for Queen Victoria's Birthday. Yes, it is a national holiday and they have fireworks and celebrations. I will just be going to DD's for supper.

Roger,
Too bad about that fungus fight! DH uses lamisil for his toes, atheletes foot rises its ugly head occasionally.
Enjoy the free show tonight if you can.
Get that puter fixed soon!

Waving to Linda, Shawnee, Barb and All!

Hi everyone,

We are under a TORNADO Warning of all things, so this may be cut short.

Roger, Hope you solve the computer problem. What a PITA that is.

Hope that show, BARE, is better than the last ushering freebie. Keep us posted.

DON'T ITCH IT!! You don't need a bacterial infection on top of the jock itch.

Loretta, they will love that LC almond cheese cake. It's the BEST!. Sometimes I make it without the almond flavoring and put in lemon or vanilla and top with berries. YUMMM

Jackie, My goodness girl Congratulations on the steady progress downward. Way to go!

Welcome HOME Julie. We are so glad you are back with us and happy you didn't lose your shirt at the casinos. Sigh, I love Roulette and wish I could have been there with ya.

Susan, LOL parents always overspend on the first kid. Hopefully they will calm down and not go too far overboard.

Shawnee, I made your Victorian cake for the base of the Trifle. Put the strawberries and SF jello over it and made the custard today. Tomorrow I'll put the whipped cream on it and let everyone know how it turns out. Oh and I added rum to the custard for added flavor. We shall see.

Getting hungry for some reason and hope to get a bite to eat before any storms hit.

Hi Y'all

Rain continues...wheee ! I guess we need it, but its knocking off petals

I made a stew of sorts yesterday. A mixture of hamburger/sausage...zucchini played the starring veg role, and today it was even better. We're in the midst of stew weather (comfort food time)

Bob caught a 10 lb Steelhead on the Columbia today...(like a variety of salmon)...he was kinda swaggering, cause he was the only one in his group of six to "bring home the bacon"... I roasted a chunk of it outside on the BBQ ...in the rain...cause it stinks up the house.

Zip, you and Phonecia don't share the same genes: she flourishes, you break out....sorry, I know the rashes are not fun.

Jacki, GOOD CHOICE...Curves over Suzy stuff You're doing great, Gal.

Loretta, are you on the Road to Recovery? How bout Leah?
Bet its always nice when Spot decides to join you. How nice you are, re that cheesecake

SuSun, you're acting just like a Grandma Many of us can relate. Enjoy it. And enjoy your Celebration too.

Julie, Welcome HOME! I remember that Reno had Slots everywhere...do they have them in the Restrooms now too?
One trip, I won more in a Grocery store than I did in the Casinos.

Geez, Montana...sure hoping that Tornado warning proves to be a false alarm!
Super idea, with the cake and Trifle...can't wait to hear the results. I have the perfect pedestal bowl for one...

To all, be safe and well...and content.

Shawnee
