Not sure how much wisdom I have to give any answer. I was not in a hurry to lose my weight. I wanted a change for life. I have lost weight before only to put it back on. I will have to admit though that I am not a strick Atkins follower. I do some low fat along with the low carb because of hyperlipidemia. Our bodies all react differently to foods and we have to individualize. Water at least 100 ounces, exercise a daily must for me. I still have to be on the alert and watch that scale. Once your reach goal it becomes another set of challanges. HTH.
