VM for Thursday, 4/29
Hi all, same old same-old...nothing much happening. We were going to do theater tonight with a friend but heard from the grapevine the show sucked so we called it off.
I'll try some LIGHT weightlifting today...first in 2 weeks. I hope all goes well and I don't relapse. Well I let Phonecia branch and I have two sturdy stems coming from last years stalk. Lo and behold she sent up a new stalk anyway...so I'm looking for 3 June bloomers- I hope not all at once. Shawnee, Jacki...love the gardens. Loretta, Leah must be great fun for you. Is she named for PRINCESS Leah of Star Wars (with the donuts on her head.) Linda, Are you getting the 72° that they are calling for here. To all a goood day.

Good morning Roger and everyone.
Yes it's supposed to get to the mid 70's today. FINALLY!! Be careful with those weights so you don't relapse or injure anything. I'm off to work for a few hrs but will return later. Have a good one gang. |

Hey gang!
Just wanted to pop in here and let y'all know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth We've been pretty busy here, but enjoying ourselves. Mom's cousin from WI was here yesterday and a good visit had by all.Weather is really getting pretty, DH has had to mow and weedeat again. Saw some really nice birds at the feeders, we now have a Rose Breasted Grosbeak visiting to go along with the canary finches and purple finches, redwing blackbird, etc. I reckon we'll wind up buying as much seed for the birds as food for the dogs NOT!!! Any ways, just wanted to check in and let y'all know I'm not forgetting you! Hugs to all,

Hi to all
Good to hear from Ginny and Zip today. Zip LOL with princess Leah with the donut tiara. I am really enjoying this new grandbaby, being so close helps a lot. Hope that Light Weight lifting goes lite on you. Ginny you are beginning to have a zoo over there. We sure are enjoying lots of birds here too. Feeding those hummingbirds too. I don't ususally feed the finches. You might want to just open up a pet store/vet shop right there. Save you trips to town. Glad the visiting is going extra special for all of you. Linda will you be taking your DIL to the hospital? It is Peter, right? How high is that count of grandkids for you? With those 70s that hosta will be jumping up in that pot. Barb dullsville here too. Except I have some more flowers to plant, like that one. I even found some lobiela today. Just one 6 pack. Rain by Saturday. Shawnee we used some horse poop one year where we plant the toms and I swear everyweed know to man grows there now. I'm with ya on ignoring the house work to get out in the fresh air and have a nose and eyes in the flowers. well back too. My fibrous begonias have not come up yet, I can't wait so will plant some wave petunias in that hanging basket. A 6 pack of PWaves at the WM for 4.99. They must be a smaller vairety though and don't look as nice as the more expensive ones. Hi to SuSUN, Jackie, Pam, Mommy, Cali, and our lurkers. Check out this guys ad to sell his wife's wedding dress on ebay. Put # 4146756343 in the search. IT's a real hoot!!!!!!! Loretta |

Burk sure is growing into a very handsome adult. He is somewhat bigger than I imagined he would be. Fine looking grandpup, Shawnee. Thanks for the pictures.
Some critter got one of my hostas that are not in a pot. Must be a mole. Need more egg shells. Loretta |

Shawnee....that's a right purty dog!! Sittin there so proud.
You want a cure for dullsville?? Come help me make about 8 five gallon buckets of ranch dressing tomorrow afternoon. That'll cure ya. I did the horse manure thing one year too....NEVER again!! More weed seed than poop! Lorretta, those waves look small now but I'll bet they get plenty big. Good savings!! A better buy than my farmer's market ones. I finally put more bird seed out last weekend. Seems the more you put out the faster they eat. I'm going to ration it out this year. They ain't gonna eat up my plant money. Count down now is 34 work days. Will I make it?Or not???? Made some deviled eggs tonight....with that spicy hot mayo, minced onion, finely chopped dill pickle and mustard. YUM!!! Also a bit of lemon pepper. Oh!! And most important of all------ Leah is absolutely beautiful!!! |

Guess I'm even later. BUT better late than never they say!!
I got a little busier today but stayed home most of the day. Went to Curves and Wallyworld and came home and made some lc fudge, lc almond cheesecake and cheese crisps for the camping trip. Just call me Betty Crocker please. No Martha for sure. Shawnee, Ft. Flagler is one of my fav places to camp. Love it up there. Burk is gorgeous and sitting so proud. You must be a proud grandma... Susan, glad you dropped by.. Jacki, my gosh, 8 five gallon buckets of ranch dressing!!!!! Wow!!! Must be for school! Eggs sound good. Deviled eggs are my specialty. I usually just put in bacon with a little mustard and lots of mayo. Loretta, gee I hope it's not a mole. Those are buggers to get rid of. Barb, why are you dullsville??? Ginny, Don't get a hernia lifting all that food for the critters!! LOL Zip, will I ever get a spike on my orkids??? Glad you got the touch. Get the camera ready, I love the pics. Linda, did you enjoy the nice 70 degree weather today? You have go to learn to say NO, like me. hahahaha Tomorrow...
