VM TUESDAY, 4/27
Good morning all. The rain stopped and we are due for a nice week in the 70's. Goodness what HEAT you Northwesterners are getting and New Orleans got almost 8 inches of rain on Saturday...weather gods seem to be smoking some "funny tobacco."
This week, between the cold and the achy breaky joints and zero energy I feel about 90. I need to win the lottery so I can hire a live-in masseur. Bob working today, so I will try to get back in the swing with a long walk and a steamroom sit at the gym....nuts, I hope I didn;t lose too much ground musclewise! That pasta sounds a tad like voodoo to me. The chemistry discusssion is just not completely creditable. When they commit to sales as a "recommended for diabetics" product, then you know you're on safe ground....In the meantime it's Sidari, Spigadoro, and Louis Vitelli for me when they reach 3/$1. Shawnee, what a delightful picture of Cherokee Chuck...I can see him just DARING a bird to come have a bath! That pasta dish is close to the basic SPAGHETTI Alia e Oglio...garlic and olive oil. I think the cheese is optional but most Italians opt not. I love it but with my stupid American habit, I feel without meat it isn't a meal...and they wonder why Americans have a weight problem!!! Oh Linda, the boats....Queens were scheduled to leave at 5:45 PM but no mention of EST or EDT so we posted window guard from 4:45 (raining)....time came and went and we gave up and had dinner, assuming she left early (we have a building blocking the upriver dock).... Well we read yesterday that she left at 8:30 PMEDT and they both put on a show with firworks and horns...we missed it all. Next time. Consensus is the the QE2 is by far the prettier boat! Carpe Diem!

Hi Y'all
Weather has nosedived, back to cold and windy. Typical of NW ![]() Zip, thanks for the name of that recipe. Bob also wants some MEAT showing somewhere on his plate, so the Alia e Oglio is usually accompanied by a Hot Italian Sausage boiled in beer. Yeah, the Chuckster was kinda brazen...he usually lurks/hides in the foliage under the birdbath. Jacki, hope the Dirty Old Man Pics are available soon....I tired Properties for the address, and that took me to NO WAY ! Julie, too cute: Sorry ya missed the boat! Hi to all the MIAs. Shawnee |

I see it, I see it.
That azalea is beautiful, the colors are just gorgeous. The irisis are looking good too. Chuckster in the BB is quite poser for the camera. Looks like he owns that bb. Been busy today trying to get Leah to talk so we can record her coos. NO WAY. Back later. Loretta |

Wow Shawnee, what a magnificent Azalea!!
It's a shame that your area is so dry. Hopefully wild fires won't be a big problem there this season. Talked with my brother in Missoula last night and he is terribly worried too. ![]() Jackie, great picture too. Posting some pictures can be a royal pain in the azz though. You gals have me really envious. Loretta, hope you succeeded in getting Leah to coo. Julie, don't tell me that you are running all over creation again. Hopefully you are resting up a bit. Roger, bummer that you missed the boat. Oh well, maybe next time. Did you hear the fireworks? What's up with all the achy breaky joints? Hope your cold is getting better. Jury is still out on the pasta since the meter I want was out of stock. I'll keep calling until they get it in. The only way I will believe something commercial is really low carb is to test my own blood reaction. Worked today and will tomorrow so I'll catch all of you tomorrow sometime. I'm really pooped but knowing me, will still stay up far too late. |

Sure glad to see The OLD MAN is thriving Healthy dude.Yes, Julie...its a Deciduous Azelea...old as Moses..LOL Loretta...playing Cookie the Producer/Director with Miss Leah, huh? Did ya capture a Coo ? How's she doing? Hey Montana...time to retire for real, Gal...(remember, we ain't 25 anymore...) Wow Jackie is that an elephant in that planter? How cool!!
Shawnee, Love your azalea. I'm impressed with his age. How brave you are to get on those knees. ![]() Yeah, we aren't 25 and I'm not going to work after we go to Montana in Sept. No way, no how. No blankin way! Julie, glad you just went bowling and didn't run your butt all over the pace. Listen to Shawnee. We aren't 25 anymore. Now where are the rest of the gang? I miss them. |
