Someone has to start this thread----so, Hello all Magnificent Ones. Not much going on here....it's been too cool and too wet to get anything done. Just salt mine stuff.

I'll try to get back in this evening. Hope you all have a good day.

Hi Jackie and all who follow

I'm joining you today with the weather. Rain, cooler temps. I am so spoiled now that we have had nice weather. IT seems colder now than it did in winter.

I like the SALT MINE stuff. I guess most of the days are made of the routine of living.

Roger hope you are on the mend. LOL on the ulcer for Leah.
She is doing much better today. Should I wait for the next sale at the puritans. I am hoping it will be better or just as good as this one. I have some lecithin left yet, maybe 4 cans.

SuSUN glad to hear that the lc foods are bringing your weight back where it should be. My spinach this year was a flop. A critter walked all over it where I had planted it in the garden. I guess I need to go back to putting it in planters. WOW was that 10 hours at work for you?

Julie you will have to tape those night games so you can get your rest. Don't want you getting that worked up over the game.
I like the bagged spinach, it is nice and clean and I don't notice the problems you have with it.

Linda have the Hostas sprouted yet? Hope you are not working all that hard and are able to avoid the Germ Lady

Back to the sewing machine.
Hi to the rest of the gang and our lurkers.

Hi Magnificient Maintainers!

Home from the Salt Mines now. Good phrase Jacki, it has become a keeper for DH and I!

Loretta,
Yes, a 10 hour-day on work days, with the commute, only 8 hours actually in the building. Years ago I did 12-hour shifts, mostly nights when the kids were small. All sleep and work, no life!
What are you making at the sewing machine?
I must have read that someone else planted Spinach in boxes on their porch, I guess to keep the critters off! Are you growing it for salads or for the steamed with garlic and bacon!
I started the Lethicin, vit E and A again. I have some Omega-fish oil caps somewhere! All in All I was pleased with my bloodwork. I have a year to make a few adjustments.

I hope to check back later to see if Y'all have checked-in by then!

SuSUN!

Hi gang,

Been a busy day at work but now I'm off until next Tues. Keep your fingers crossed so I don't get the nasty bug my co worker has. I avoided her like the plague but she did touch door handles and elevator buttons in the facility. LOL I was wiping down everything before I touched it with an alcohol based hand sanitizer. What a kook, eh?

Jackie, LOL on the Salt mine stuff.
Well if it weren't for the rain out there, your area of the country wouldn't be so darn beautiful. Enjoy.

Loretta, It's great to hear that little Leah is on the mend. Gosh I hate to see little ones sick.
Bummer on the spinach. Can you plant another crop that will mature soon or do you have to wait until next year?

No sign of the hostas yet but there are lots of other things like dandelions Darn things.

Susan, OY that's one long day for you. How the heck do you do it?

Julie, I agree with Loretta. Tape the games and stay away from the news so you don't know the outcome.

Roger, How are you feeling today? Hope you are on the mend too.

Ginny, do you still have company? Hope things are going well. We miss you.

Hi to Shawnee, Pam, Rory, Dragon, Ray and everyone.
Off to search more airline fares. Boy that's fun. Mom and my youngest brother are planning a trip to Mt. in June. HOPEFULLY.
Later

Home from the Salt Mines!!

Had a really nice trip to Denver for a mtg. and the weather cooperated nicely. NOW - they can have snow!! The Columbine five year memorial was taking place -- wish they would leave it rest. Those poor people must be fed up with all of the comments. They cancel school and everyone sits at home and watches the film of those kids running for their lives. My .02 worth!!

We LOVE Texas Roadhouse and eat there often -- so LC friendly with the side dishes that you can pick from -- I always have salad or green beans or fresh veggies with my meat.

What's up with everyone else? Do the Mariners have a team this year?

Hi Barb, Glad your meeting went well but yeah I agree that they should let it rest now. Poor family survivors don't need to have the constant media attention.
SNOW?? Boy I thought NYS was bad.

Yeah, that Texas Road House is great. Hopefully everyone here has one in their area.

Loretta, now why would I want to tape the Mariner games? Usually they over by 10:00!!!I stay up til midnight or 1:00 anyway.
Glad Leah is better. Poor darling!!

Barb, the Mariner's started out real bad, 1 win and 8 losses but just won 4 in a row. They lost tonight though. Hard to tell but doubt they are as good as in the past. Never know though. I know these fellows so well, seems like they are family now. LOL

Yes, there was much on TV about Columbine and I think it was in poor taste. Gosh, bringing it all back doesn't help anybody. Glad the weather cooperated for you and the plane brought you home safe and sound, despite the ****** at United. LOL

Linda, we sure are keeping our fingers crossed for you. You certainly don't need anymore bugs. Glad work is over for another week.

SuSun, get those fish oil caps in ya girl. Exercise is suppose to help the #'s too. Not sure if it will lower the LDL though. Sorry about the news today at the Dr.

Hi Jacki, so how many days til school's out now?
