Hi guys,

Nothing happening yet (well, it's only 7:30AM). Weather is a drizzly 50 expecting to go up to 60....we'll take a walk during one of the dry spots. Truth be told, it looks like a very early and very welcome Spring.
HARD anaerobic workout planned today- it's easiest on a day where I don;t have to "run" somewhere afterwards!

Susan,
Lordy, why don't they stop fiddling those microcalcifications once and for all...they tell you to "just watch" but then don't take the advice themselves. Feel better (bet you feel like a black and blue pincushion!)

Annie,
So sorry about your daughter. Those iatrogenic "illnesses" really make me want to line a few people up against the wall and do the gene pool a Darwinian justice! I've read several times that doctors (and nurses) in America are killing FAR more people than either Cancer or Heart Disease!
I guess they just go in with a catheter and "catch" the broken needle part?

Linda,
Is Gerard's eating parts getting back to normal?

Julie,
Gee what a lot of work a pet dog is. My cats got fed and had their litter changed...and then we buried them a decade or so later!

To all, health and wealth....and lots of HOT SEX!

Hey gang,

Woke up to a GORGEOUS SUNSHINE this morning. Had the windows open overnight and it looks so pretty out. Later we're supposed to get clouds/rain/t-storms? But, when the temps go up quick like this, it's always a possibility. In the mean time, I'll enjoy the warmth and sunshine (70's maybe) while it lasts! BTW, the crocus are blooming, the Bradford Pears are budding nicely, Eastern Redbuds are starting to bud, shrub magnolias swelling (hopefully won't get nipped by a frost) and the azaleas should get ready really soon too! In the gh, lots going on. Spikes all over the place, and a few first time bloomers for us too!

Zip, I'll take square footage over ANY city! I love being in the country, don't think I'd survive in town. Hope the workouts are getting easier and you're less sore!

Cali, how in the he!! did they break off a needle in your daughter's artery???? Must have been a really incompetent medical staff! Go get 'em!

Linda, having never dealt with severe reactions like you have, I'd probably panic! Thank God all of us here are pretty healthy critters, especially since our health insurance basically sucks. Hope you have some CALM time now.

Susan, glad to see you post Was wondering where you got off to! So when do y'all hit FL?

Julie, that's a lot of grooming for Bo. You really have to love a breed to do all of that! Our gang gets the occasional brushing, and will be pretty frequent soon with the spring blow-the-coat time coming on. Bub lets his loose in CHUNKS and when you pet him he will just go 'poof'. For all intents and purposes, these dogs should be naked the way they shed

Well, off to lurk for a bit.....waving to all! Hope everyone has a safe and content day.

Hi to all

We got home last evening and have been on the run this am catching up with some shopping and now on to the clothes washing. Had a nice visit with family and got DSs house cleaned up before the realitors put it on the market. It was easy to clean without any furniture in it.

Gee Zip 140 is ok for the systolic reading but that 90 is a number I dread. I would rather be in the 70s or 80s even. The problem is that our bp's change so frequently and unless you monitor it all the time (being changed to a spygo is not my idea of stress free living).

Sorry about that Catheter being left in DD Annie. I wish they would quit blaming the health care workers though because sometimes it is faulty products. I have been there also. Praying for a healthy outcome.

Ginny we too are beginning to see lots of signs of spring. The march flowers are blooming now. NO signs of spring up north.

Linda I think I'll have to go back and check up on the previous days posts to see what you have been into.

Hi to the rest of the band.
Any news on Shawnee's hard drive?

Loretta

Welcome back Loretta!! Gosh we missed you. Glad you got to enjoy the family. Did you and DH get all of your specialty goodies?

No word on Shawnee's hard drive yet. Hopefully it's going to be repaired soon. I miss her.

Ginny, it's hard to believe things are budding and flowering just a twelve hr drive from here. Enjoy every minute of your early spring. We did get some rain that beat the snow back so now I can see actual grass instead of a frozen white tundra.

Roger, HA!! very early spring??? I don't trust mother nature at all. She is liable to slap us back to reality with a March Blizzard.
So what did you end up doing today?

Gerard's face is still a bit swollen but is much better.

I guess Julie is in Sequim doing something but I don't know if she will be back tonight or not.

Susan, how are you doing today? Black and blue pin cushion is right. OUCH!!

Barb, the countdown is here for your return to work on Monday. Sorry about that. When can you retire and get the hell out of there and enjoy life?

Jackie, you are in my thoughts during this sorrowful time.

Rather pleasant day here but no sun at all. The Chenango River developed a huge ice jam a few miles north of here and caused some flooding. That mess is heading for the Susquehanna River, right in the city of Bing., so it will be an interesting night.

I was notified yesterday ( in writing lol) that my contract has been approved for another year, but I PROMISE that I will not work next winter and pick up all of these darn bugs. It won't be too bad because I plan to take a lot of time off. We want to go to a low carb gathering in KY and then to Montana in Sept.

Off to catch up a bit.
Later

Geez Zip, are you in a mood! If I was in Susan's postition, I would've done the same thing. Nothing like worry to change your mind. I wonder is you would wait if it was your below the belt thingies.

The way I look at it, Bo is on my lap anyway and he is good about the brushing. I love doing it and it's no problem. Of course it's work but I chose it when I got this breed.

Ginny, this is the nice thing about this breed....he doesn't shed at all!!!

Cali, hope your DD is doing ok now.

Loretta, glad you're back home safe and sound. We sure missed you.

Linda, sure wonder whats going on with you two. Hope you can figure it out so it doesn't happen again.
We had a nice lunch and got home in plenty of time to get DGD on the ferry to her dad's. She was coughing and had a bad sore throat. Damn! Sure hope I don't get it but....not holding my breath.

Think my mood isn't so good so will sign off. Sorry I felt so defensive. Have a good night.

Hi Roger, LInda, Loretta, Ginny and those that follow

No black and blue yet, just raw and bloody! Still taking the tylenol every 4-5 hours. Makes me quite sleepy. Glad I was off work today to recover. I am back to work in the morning not sure what kind of day I can put in, so I'll see how I am in the morning on awakening if I will go in or not.

Ginny,
We dont leave for FLA till the end of March, cant wait!

Loretta,
I agree the equipment is sometimes at fault!

Linda,
I hope Gerard's face is less swollen now you have it under control.

Roger,
I agree it did look and smell like Spring today! The snow is thawing everywhere, grass patches can be seen! It was lovely to get out with DD and the dogs for a stroll round the woods.
Are you still attending the Gym?
I am glad the microcalcifications are out now finally!

Wavin to the rest of our Magnificient Ones!

Susan, I don't think I ever told you -- been there, done that!! I had 21 microcalifications taken out about five years ago. Everything turned out ok but I paced the floor until I got that report. Then they followed up with 6 months mamagrams and now everything is back to normal. The doc. said -- we're giving you more than valium because you seem to be a bit nerous!! DUH !!

Annie, I just had an IV in my hand and thought of your situation.
Yes, I agree there are complications, but I had a student who was being watched all the time!!! I hope it turns out ok.

Loretta, it's about time you get back!! Leaving us like that!! I was stressing out about those stitches the surgeon left in me. But....... he said I was healing well and snipped them!

Julie, I know I will make you jealous -- I'm one pound below my sig. You CAN do it -- catch up with me!!

What did they find out with Gerald, Linda? Is it allergies?

Ginny and Zip, different strokes for different folks!! City - Country!! I really like a combination of the two. I think I was meant to have a country home for the weekends while living in the city during the week. I think I'll run off and tell DH what I want!!

FINALLY, I'm back!

Hi Y'all

Geez, seems there's been a lot of unfortunate happenings since I've been "unplugged"...and haven't had time to read the backlog stuff.

Gave up on the complicated poor health of the old puter; finally bit the bullet tonight and got a new one this evening...lots of new stuff to figure out, but at least I'm ONLINE again.

Little visit with Jacki today...bless her heart, she's having a rough go of it, but she's a trooper.

Will have to catch up with everyone's previous posts, but wanna say: some of y'all sound like you could use a hug, so consider it DONE by me.
