SUNNY SUNDAY ??? Leap Year!!
Well, it's not sunny here, but you'all might be having some!
Thanks Zip, for reminding us all of the washer used by grandma! Isn't it great that we have those modern contraptions now days. I appreciate the microwave porbably the most -- just about as good as sliced bread! Thanks for the good thoughts on "my only friend" in world -- seems like it some days!! Good thing -- I'm back to my sig. weight and can start maintaining!! Linda, sick AGAIN !! Maybe you DO need to up that weight just a little. If you ever in need of some extra padding, just hollar. Waving to everyone on my way to the coffee pot! Later.....

Good morning everyone.
My gosh it's such a lovely, bright almost spring like day here. Wow!! I think I'll attempt to wash some some of the windows and patio doors then take some storage bins to my mom's so she can start packing. Barb, I sincerely hope your pain eases soon. It's so very difficult to lose such a wonderful little friend. It seems that every winter I pick up every darn virus those patients get from their visitors and other staff. People are just so damned inconsiderate when they are sick. Instead of staying home where they belong, they insist on spreading that crap to as many as they can. LOL Because of this asthma, I'm more susceptible to pneumonia which I seem to have yet again.. Roger I want to thank you for the computer tips. I may uninstall yahoo messenger and see what happens. I did a scan from the Microsoft site to R/O a worm and this computer is clean so far. I could have accidentally deleted something when I used Spy Bot so if worse comes to worse, I'll take this thing into Computer CPR and have them fix it. Julie, keep us posted on how Dr. Zip's treatment works for those warts. Loretta, have a fun and safe trip to Ill. We want to hear all about it. I hope they are working hard on Shawnee's computer so she can get back to us soon. Waving to everyone else see y'all later. |

Hi,
Still thinking about Roger's cure. Am a little afraid. Whats the symptoms of overdose? Linda, for goodness sake, sit down and REST!! You have pneumonia, even if it's just a small spot. Those darn windows will wait... Awww Barb, we are also your friends. Just not the same though. We can't be at your side or lap or lap your hand or face. But we are here for you to help remember and take the pain away. Where is everybody???? I'm spending a nice quiet day at home. Reading the paper, catching up with my sis and bro. Bro is still having "warmth" on his knee and he's scheduled for surgery to replace the knee in a little over a week. He's going to call the doc in the morning. Sis is doing fine. Called a good friend too. Needed to get my DGS off my mind. He is not doing good. Found out he's not working and has rings in his eyebrow, 2 in his lip, 2 in ea ear and who knows how many others. Keeps mutilating himself with tatoo's. I think he's still in school but can't be sure. He lied about working so....He's still got a house to live in. Friends parents have been letting him sleep there but bet they are getting sick of him not contributing grocery money. I have not good feelings about what will happen to him. How is he managing without money? We all know the probable answer to that. Ok, sorry shouldn't burden all of you. Off to fix dinner so I can watch all the weird clothes on the Academy Awards. LOL

Hi Julie, I found this info on Vit.A HTH
http://www.cc.nih.gov/ccc/supplements/vita.html#risk I'm so sorry about your DGS. We will all keep our fingers crossed that this phase will wear out soon and he will get back on track. Unfortunately there isn't much you can do except be there for him and let him know that he is loved. Off to get a few things done. |

Yes, Linda, do NOTHING!! Just like me!! It's hard to keep up -- this nothingless.
Julie, you have to let him hit bottom and then offer help. I've seen it happen with kiddos in my work. It's very difficult to watch them go down but, some day he will hopefully come for help and you will be able to do something. I'm just like you -- I watch the awards for the dresses!! Saying hi to all...... |
