Hey everyone,
Brain fog still rolling around, but I think I'm awake LOL Not much going on around here now, but I'm the first one up. DH got the inbound septic lines all done, so now he can get the rock in for the new field lines. Around here whenever you start on a project, you can never do just that project without something else getting in the way. This all started with getting the septic PUMPED! Sheesh. DR has a broken tooth that they were supposed to pull yesterday, but he had to be referred to an oral surgeon for it. Poor guy! Now a longer wait to get it done. Hopefully by sometime next week he'll be finished with that mess! AS for me.....same old same old! Hope everyone is doing welll...more later if I get a chance.

Hi to all
Sorry about that broken tooth for DH Ginny. That has got to be miserable and then to have to wait. Hope he is not in pain. That septic line project fits into the Murphy's Law category for sure. That is the usual way of events around here too. One thing leads to another. Linda have you heard about your contract yet. Just when you get set to call it quits they will renew it. Hope your work day went well. Not much going on here except lotsof wind and cooler temps. The weekend is suppose to be in the 60s. L8ter Hi to all of the maintaining band members. Loretta |

I did 4 Presentations all different subjects, two were similar, sure feeling my age!Another day off tomorrow to catch up on reading and then the office all day Friday, so not bad....roll on Friday! Gotta catch up on what's going on with y'all! Loretta, Wonderful temps for you, 60s for the weekend. DD and her DH return tomorrow night from FLA. They had some days in the mid 80's and sunshine. Our turn soon to fly South! Ginny, Hope DH is on some pain meds, if it is painful. I cant believe how they can leave people like this. LInda, Glad you started the thread and hope you had a good day at the ole Salt Mines! I am just in the recovery stage, after a big onslaught!!!! It's over now! Next week is shaping up to a similar week. Gotta get some pep pills or something! Hope to be back in the Land of the Living and this BB my Lifeline, daily, from now on. Good evening Ginny, Loretta and Linda,
The rest must be doing their "lenten disciplines" !!! Nice weather here also, very springy. But a snowstorm is moving in for the weekend. Every year during calfing season this happens and everyone scrabbles out to protect them. Someone asked and yes, we have a calfing barn here on the ranch and they have pulleys to help with difficult births. We don't ranch - just live on the property. The cowboys (real ones on horses) do all of the herding, calfing, and then branding. Many more sheep ranches also in the area lately. So, to me Spring is calfs and lambs. Went into town and had lunch with a friend. Very relaxing day and got lots of reading done. Linda, you and I are direct opposites. I can do lots in the am and right now can't think straight. A broken tooth shouldn't hurt unless the nerve was exposed also - right? Well, it too shall pass! Loretta, we get lots of wind in the Spring and beginning of summer. Is that typical for you? There is an old Indian saying that the wind will blow until the snow is off the tops of the mountains. It's been true so far, on about the middle of June. Till tomorrow.......

Hi Y'all
Mixed bag of weather today: wet, windy and wild til a gorgeous sunbreak this afternoon. Seems Wind is a major theme across the ol' US. Just spoke with Jacki. She has been working her job, plus rotating with relatives to care for her Dad in his home. He chose to remain there instead of going into the Hospice facility. Today she took a leave of absence to be with him more, as his condition is deteriorating rapidly. She asks that Y'all be informed she does think about you and tries to read the Posts daily, but is really too busy and stressed to post herself...its a tough time for the whole family. I'm asking for her: if ya got a spare for them, now's the time it would be appreciated. Thanks.Hey Goddess...I sure hear ya on the Home Improvement projects...they tend to take 10x longer, and a whole lotta $$$ more than expected...like opening Pandora's Box. It will eventually get done. Good luck to DR gettin his tooth fixed. SuSun, good to hear from you. Bet you will be eyeballing that precious bulge of cargo when your DD returns. Enjoy that Free time. Barb, thanks for explaining bout the birthing, etc. Do the Cattle ranchers get along with the Sheep ranchers? Still healing well? Loretta, Thanks for the Leah pic yesterday. Are you thinking about planting Spinach yet? Our ground is soggy. Montana, hope the work went well. I used to be a Morning person, but now hate to make a decision on anything before noon. Anyone making any new recipes? HI to all the MIAs. Shawnee |
