If you have a jar of the Skippy CarbOptions Peanut Butter, please check...

the label and let us know if it has hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated fat. I know it has splenda, but I'm wondering about the transfats. I haven't found it yet, but before I search I wanted to make sure about the transfats. Thanks.

I accidentally posted this on this board, sorry. But it looks like I'll be avoiding this product since it does have trans-fats.

Although it does list Partially Hydrogenated Vegetable Oils, notice that it lists 0 trans fats which means it must be less than .5 grams of trans fats per serving. It looks like they added a little just to keep the peanut oil from separating as with natural peanut butter. It's too bad they couldn't just leave it alone.

Stirring up natural peanut butter, like Smuckers brand, prior to refrigeration is not that hard. Actually, I usually just dump the extra peanut oil floating on top into the trash. It's a little bit dry that way, but it raises the protein to fat ratio.
