Good morning gang,

Julie, Have you check with your doctor about the strange off balance feeling? You have me a bit worried so please see someone.

Shawnee, thanks for the compliment yesterday. It sure made this ol gal feel pretty darn good.

I' m with you on the Cheese biscuits. I really like them. Flax meal sweet treats are ok but I've rather lost my sweet tooth.

Love the Chuckster's new picture. Thanks.

Roger, did you survive the withdrawal? HOpe you enjoy what's left of this nice weather. Strong winds and much colder tonight.

Susan, We have many drug reps visit the Psych center but I'm not sure about part time. I'll ask when I see them.

Loretta , keep your eyes open for a deal on either a Dell or HP. Visit the web sites to check prices. Sometimes our Staples or Office Max have a good buy on HP.

Ginny, LOL on the Dragon Breath. Guess that fits a lot of us low carbers.

Where is Pam? Come on girl, check in. We want to know how your class is coming along.

Jackie, let's hope your computer tower arrives soon.

I'm off to work but will be back later.

Hi Y'all

A quickie here, before starting Pup's morning routine.
Hope everyone has a good and content day. Seems like cruddy weather is coming in for a lot of us.

Montana, saw on other thread that you had been feelin' yukky; hope that is turning around! Yes, you are a Poster Gal for the Sexy Sixties. (the pic of the Chuckster is an old one, but thought it would cheer our Zipster up, since he's into cats)

That darn Suzy broad is naggin' at me, guess I'll have to waltz with the vacuum today

To all, be well ....and hope some warm fuzzies come your way.

Good Morning Guys!

Wanted to run through before I get ready to go to the Smokers Group this aft. At least it is still Sunny with blue skies again, the temps are plummitting, so the leaves are falling now. I guess only two more weeks and they will be bare!

Linda,
Thank YOU Soooo much for asking those REps, when you see them, if they are P/T. I left a message yesterday at Nicoderm as I have the background for that, if they are looking for anyone, not sure where they are based as it was a 1-800 #.

Shawnee,
I too have to have a "slow dance" with the mop today!
Love the way you describe the Suzy stuff!

Later, gaters!

Mornin' gang!

Chilly and rainy here today. Looks like low 40's for tonight, so I'm glad my heavier jacket is in the truck already. Slept in a bit later than normal, but with the rain it seemed like the right thing to do. One thing's for sure--I won't need to water in the greenhouse!

Shawnee, when Suzy nags at me I just tell her to shuddup and leave me alone. Works most of the time LOL

Susan, you'll find something that trips your trigger to do for part time work. Being happy in a job is better than half the battle.

Zip, hope you're feeling better today!

Everyone have a wonderful day, and I'll check back in later if possible!

Hi,

Coming around slowly. A nice walk to the A&P.
That's an adorable pic of Chuckster, Shawnee. Does he ever bolt from the yard and get lost?

Linda,
Just heard about those heavy wind warnings. I guess there must be a cold front coming in. I guess Ginny's weather is moving north...BRRR, 40's. We're still holding 70&deg.F and sunny!

Ginny,
Anything on that copper wire support with the built in clips to arch a phal?

I'm listening to an interesting interrview on NPR right now. It's the founders of GOOGLE....what would we do without it. Rags to riches story...two guys started in a dorm room...then a garage...then half a house....Now 1000 people all over the world in 90 languages.

Bosc pears at Shop-Rite for $.49. I might try a tart but Bob SHOULD be off the rest of the week so, of course it's 2 days of theater, another museum and a probable car rental...he's been talking up Philadelphia.
Trouble is, I'm tired of making plans and then "RING, RING...Can you come in today?"
If he works, "I'll tart it up." for Susan!

Loretta, You jangled my memories with some of those radio shows.
I used to like THE GREAT GILDERSLEEVE and YOUNG WIDDER BROWN...LOL and of course JACK BENNY SHOW....never quite got AMOS AND ANDY...too silly! MY FRIEND IRMA and OUR MISS BROOKS were right up there too....with a bag of pretzels and a 20 ounce soda....made my dentist rich later!
Before you buy a computer check out the prices at:
www.TigerDirect.com (order their catalogue too.)

I thin sliced most of a Top Round for London Broil and am slow cooking (6 hours on Low) it to a goulash/stroganoff...smells good.

Julie...
Try some dramamine (or meclizine Rx) for any dizziness you have. Both work pretty well. It's probably a passing labyrinthitis which can come from a cold or even an allergy.

Hi Jackie and Pam...I hope all is copacetic.

Be well all!

A better late than never hello for today.

Just a busy day here. Trying to finish up my pillow and quilt projects so I can put those machines away for a while. Shopping and lunch with friend. Got lots of bargains on the senior day at Kitchen Collections. Good price on some poppyseeds and a slicone bake sheet for those cookies.
Lunch was not good at all. I ordered the chicken salad with fruit but doggone the fruit was the canned type. I was disappointed in that. Have to start making some Peanut Butter fudge for the annual church booth at the Fall Festival and tomorrow I want to go to Sam's club.

Thanks all for the tips on the pc. I have HP and really have not had a lot of problems out of it except that it is aging. Thanks for that web site Zip. They sure had some great prices. I sure hope that you and Bob get to do SOMETHING soon before the snow starts flying. The fall colors there must have peaked out already. Ours are about to really peak in another week or so.

Ginny cold and windy here today too. Just cooler I should say and the wind did not help. Glad you had that jacket in the truck. Hope that rain helped the spinach I just planted. I'm late with it this fall. But it might make it. Better in the ground than still in the package.

Julie hope you had a great series today. We have been able to pick up the cubs because of the cloudy weather. It is coming in somewhat on the tv. Will see how they do tonight.

Boy Linda good going on losing your taste for the sweets. I still like them and even the bread with something a little sweet in it is more to my liking. I am enjoying the cookes or have I already mentioned that??????? at least 10 times.

Shawnee I hope the vacuum did not step on your toes while you two were waltzing.

Hi to Susan, Jackie and Pam and the lurkers.

Loretta, Every so often I get a real craving for something sweet but it's not like it used to be. Guess we all have different tastes.

We are waiting to see some pictures of your projects. I bet they are lovely!

Roger, weather person said we could get up to 70 mph gusts late tonight on the hill tops. Batten down those hatches.

Lets hope you and Bob get to take a trip. Maybe unplug the phone?

You brought back memories of Jack Benny and Our Miss Brooks. Wow those were two of my favorites.

Ginny, at least you won't have to water. Gosh it's been a wet year but it's helped the apple crop here.

Susan, hopefully you can find something part time. I'll be sure to ask some of the reps as soon as I see one. Have you gone to the web sites? Sometimes they have employment info there.

Yikes was that flash Julie? Hope you enjoyed bowling girl.

Shawnee, LOVE that picture of Chuckster even if it's an old one. He is a beauty!
LOL sexy sixties? Yeah sure. Nice thought though.

Suzy is calling me to but as Ginny said I told her to shut up. I'm too pooped from this bronchitis to bother with her this week but am on the mend. We are going to try a new recipe from the recipe bb on the moms this Sun. Have you tried that lasagna everyone raves about? It should go well with those Cheddar biscuits.

Gotta luck a bit before those winds hit and the power goes out. Keep your fingers crossed for us up here.

Hi Y'all

Well, here I am, ready for my Gold Star and Brownie Points ...cause I went to Curves today to make up for yesterday...LOL..( damn guilt complex...Grrrr)

Montana, you MUST be feeling tired, for YOU to tell Suzy to "stick it!" Be well! No, I haven't made the Lasagna Recipe...is it with eggplant? Hope it turns out yummy for y'all. I have been using up Freezer things, like from a Sale last St. Patrick's Day, cheap corned beef... you get the idea. I think we could eat for a year out of the freezers, cause I love sales.
GEEZ, sure hope you keep power, and stay safe!

LOL, Loretta...you love Sales too. Look out, you are turning into a Baking Suzy Sounds like you have some good equipment, and are rarin' to go. Will you again be buying your own Church Peanut Butter Fudge for your DH ? ( I thought that was so sweet!)
No, the vac missed my toes, but tried to gobble the fringe on a throw rug....its also cannibalastic, tries to eat its own cord
With the Dusting, I played old Rock'n Roll to twist to...Bob watched me and then just shook his head,..... and said maybe we should turn off the music before I killed myself gyrating..LOL

ZIP, I thought about your question re the Chuckster...No, he seldom leaves the yard...but his yard is a fenced acre (to keep Pup in and stray pups out).....and actually its a cat's paradise, with bushes, trees, a pasture and plenty of small critters for him to harass. He is now 12, but still moves like greased lightning; can jump to the top of the 6' cedar fence, and then patrol it along the 1/2" wide top...great vantage point to secure his perimeters. He sleeps on overhead trellises, compost piles, car hoods...and my bed!
Sure hope you and Bob can do some fun things while ya have the good weather.

The Radio : Mom had daytime "soaps"...Stella Dallas...Helen Trent.

Ginny, do you have Christmas and Thanksgiving Cacti?...seems I remember some pics of those...How's all the furkids? And how's things with DR ?

Susan, our yards are all leaf-covered...the critters love running thru them. Who "leads" when you mop?
Now that nasty weather is here, my mop will be going into overdrive and overtime...Pup wipes her feet, but Chuckster can't be bothered with such mundane things....

Julie, how did the bowling go? Do you mean you lose your balance doing certain Yoga positions?
Have you tried any new recipes lately?
I made a yeast muffin thingy today...no recipe, just "hungry" for yeast anything......so a little of this and that. Yeast bread sure hits the spot on Fall days. I still have Toms ripening, gonna use some to make Montana's Tom Soup!

Jacki, HI...we'll be here when you are ready to charm us with that new tower...

Have a good night, all...stay safe and warm.

Shawnee

Never vacuum in bare feet Shawnee, especially if your cleaner has beater bars. I learned the hard way years ago and broke all the toes on my rt. foot.
LOL you clean to music too? Great way to get some exercise in.

Good for you going to Curves. My poor lungs couldn't take it.

Gerard found the recipe and now can't remember if it was on the bb or someplace else. Oh well MEN!! Guess he will make it and hope for the best.

Where the heck are Julie and Pam?

I'm off of here because the weather is turning really nasty. Rain and thunder can be heard off in the distance. Winds are picking up too. UGH!

See everyone tomorrow if the power stays on.

Stopping by to check in. Class was great tonight! Katie, our instructor is a hoot. So much work involved, though! Yesterday, woke up with a bad migraine. Migranol did nothing but make me throw up more. The neurologist gave me samples of Imatrex today. Next round of the dreaded migraine, I'll give it a try.
Time for some zzzzzzzzzzz.

Me again, quickly...

Zip, haven't seen the copper wire complete with clips before. Someone's always coming up with something new! What we use is the little bitty hair clips (some call them jaw clips) that I get at Wallyworld or wherever they are cheap, and use either stiff wire or regular stake.

LOL on the cannabalistic vacuum....mine would get shot if it even thought about eating my toes!

Off to lurk for just a bit, then bed...zzzzzzzzzzzzz
