Good Day Maintainers!

Did some reading this morning and more Suzy stuff. A cloudy day here today. We had thunderstorms last night, so everywhere is wet.

Had delectable King Crab legs at DD's last night, followed by Lamb Medallions, mashed cauliflower and a few buttered carrots.
They all had cherry cheesecake for dessert. I sipped on my redwine and diet sprite. I was quite full, as the pre-starter was a cheese platter with humous and another dip. Stayed legal.

Shawnee, yes, I manage with those syrups but I will try to pick some DaVinci up when I am down in FLA.
LOVED the Pics again. Awwwhhhh the Chuckster is a delight. How unusual his toe markings are! Ummmmh! gotta watch out for that left hook!
Just gave Oliver a bath. He is due for his monthly drops at the back of his neck for his heartworm etc.... Under his front legs are flaring up again. I have put his cream on again. I will have to get shares in that company, as the Vet says I will have to treat him for the rest of his life this way.

Hi all.

Well, went sturgeon fishing yesterday out on the Columbia River. I caught 3 small sturgeon but nothing to bring home. Poo
It was a perfect day to bob around on a boat tho. Sunny, warm and the water was smooth. About 3pm we called fishing off and just boated up river for a bit. A log ship was being loaded at the Port of Longview so we sat and watched that from the water for a while. Then, time to head home. A good day.

Still nice and sunny today but cooler thank goodenss!! Just doing my usual sunday stuff (prep for the work week--laundry, groc shopping and cooking). I called my brother to come to dinner. I'm going the whole shmoe and making chicken gumbo, rice and cornbread. I know I know....but I just gotta.

I too, went out this aft for groceries, did laundry today and the usual weekend Suzy stuff. Feels good to sit down on Sunday night with the house all clean and tidy. We have a rental movie for tonight. I hope I like it!

Honey, I'm HOME

Long two days in the car with a downpour last evening before we found a motel. But the trip was nice.
Gosh it's cold here compared to S. Carolina.

Haven't had a chance to read all the other posts but hope all is well with each and everyone of you.

Susan, poor pup Hopefully the treatment helps him feel better.
Your dinner must have been wonderful!! King crab legs are my very favorite dipped in tons of butter.

Jackie, Love the new Halloween sig. Your fishing trip sounds fantastic!! even though you didn't get any big ones. I haven't fished since I was a kid but did a bit in Montana . It's something I should really get back into since my son is a licensed guide in NYS...I'll post his web site if I can find it.... Can anyone think of a better way to relax?

Glad y'all had such a kicked-back time on the boat; ya needed it after your last work week. I made up a NO name kinda comglomertation that would kinda pass for Gumbo, sans rice...well, it had OKRA in it anyway..had some frozen Cheese Muffins, split and toasted with garlic...YUM!

My day was some Suzy, some mowing, some reading/laziness...chat with friends....a good mix.
