Linda, thanks for the Vit C tip. I take 500mg daily so I will step it up. Great tip, cuz it is a precursor to collegen and WE all can use more elasticity. Yes, I will stop the salmon oil too, very valuable tips.

Off and lurking, slight hibernation in progress LOL Not much going on here today so far. It is the start of preseason football, and our Vikings aren't televised down here

Gonna have to wait for the tape to get mailed from family in MN. Sigh.

Ginny Dh had a foot ball game on the other evening and I could hardly believe that it is that time again. I like the sound of them playing but I sure don't enjoy the game. Dh sure enjoys a good game no matter who the players are. Did you go to WW at midnight. I think another good time to go is Sunday morning.

Susan glad you are done with the panic reading. Enjoy the freedom.

Shawnee thanks so much for the beautiful pics. Your son is one handsome dude. Those fish are awesome. Halibit is one of my favorites. Looks like the follows had a great time. I have not heard of beans and dollars at the poker table. The sunset (or sunrise) pic was too pretty for words. Enjoy the visit.
My refrig has a bigger problem and I had to call a service guy. I called GE and they told me that it is a problem we cannot fix, some drain in the back of the fridge on the outside is plugged up.
Not sure when they will get to it since it is not an emergency.

Linda glad you enjoyed your linner at Red Lobster. I am usually shocked at the prices they charge and guess I am living in another age. You sure knowledgable about those supplements. Had not heard about the vit C to aid in clotting.

Zip my supplements arrived yesterday as promised. I will be set for a while now. Do they have those sales all the time? It was quite a saving. Thanks for the tip.

Loretta,Geez that's too bad about your refrigerator. You mean they can't recommend a way to fix it yourself? Have you check some on line DIY sites? Hopefully you will get it repaired soon.

Our lunch wasn't bad at all even with NYS sales tax. It came to $13.00 each.

Gosh, back in the 70's, those Plastic Surgeons were telling people not to use anything that would thin the blood and to take Vit C for two weeks prior to surgery. You could see a HUGE difference in the healing and the ecchymosis was so minimized.

Julie, Welcome back. Glad you to visit with some friends and relatives. When do you leave for your anniversary get a way?

Puttered around in the gh today for a bit and mowed the weeds...er...yard. Glad that chore is done for another week! Kids are crashed out in the kitchen, it's a quiet evening.

Hi all. Made it back last night late. It was a quick trip but safe. Been running like mad today before we take off again tomorrow for our 40th get away. HAD to go out and see baby today, was getting withdrawals. I just love them at this age...before they can talk back!!! Went to church tonight. Made muffins too. Unpacked and repacked!! Hope I don't forget something inportant.

Susan, WHAT KIND OF SURGERY ARE YOU HAVING??? Must have missed that. Sure hope it isn't serious kiddo. Glad you can breath some relief now. Isn't it good when you learn to say "no?"

Was going to make Jacki's flax muffins today but sent DH to store and said the xan. gum was 11.96 and thought that was too expensive so didn't buy it. Made the ole Cinnamon flaxmeal muffins. I get into such ruts with cooking and eating. Same o same o!!!

Roger, where are you. Come on now and get out of the funk!! Life is too short to waste it in a fog. Rent a good funny movie and laugh, laugh til you cry.

Shawnee, great pics of your son and fish. The scenery is wonderful. We spent 3 months there 4 years ago traveling in our RV. What fun to see all the glacers and wildlife. We had a real rainstorm this morning. yippee!! sure did need it.
