Mornin' gang!

The house seems a bit quiet, but we'll adjust as usual. Slept REALLY well last night, and still just a bit on the groggy side...must not have enough caffeine in me yet LOL! Today is back on plan for me. With our anniversary and DR's last bit of cooking I had decided to just eat what I wanted and planned to crack down and start behaving today, so that's what will happen. Got a couple pounds to eliminate, so that will be the order of business and all will be well.

Gonna try to wake up now.....

Good Thursday Morning Magnificient Ones!

I thought today would never come! Yep, the last night of the Prenatal Group tonight, dont get home till 10p.m then have to get up early for a day at the office tomorrow! Glad its only once in a while.

DD seems a tad better this morning, now the company have had a nights sleep and she served them breakfast. I think she is PMS-ing too, so that dont help the situation!

Gotta find some alternative Auto Insurance Quotes, ours is due August 19th, its up $400.00, we've had no claims, the cars are 1 year older, so DH wants me to make some enquiries, long time on the phone this morning, no quotes yet. Gonna try online!

Ginny, Glad ya found some "Shoes" at the Tack Shop, for you? Not horse shoes? Remember I am a City Gal!
Glad you had a HAPPY 16TH ANNIVERSARY! those extra carbs do help ya sleep better but after a while fog up the mind. Try a multi Vit B complex with your coffee, sure picks me up! With all the activity at your place I am sure you will drop those added pounds, got a couple here too!

Waving to ya'all

Good morning everyone. Only 9am here so not much happening.
Today I have to run errands for hubby--license the boat and trailer and go to Wallyworld for him. Took a roast out for dinner. I'll cook it in the slowcooker. Now, that leaves household chores-------- I HATE housework!! Now, where are those blinders?

Susan, glad you got all the classes over. And, YIKERS! I need to get some insurance quotes too. Just putting it off.

Orchid, you really appreciate those good night sleeps when you reach 50 and beyond. I go through spells. I'm currently in a really good sleep spell. I love my morning silence too. On weekends hubby is up dark and early with that danged tv blaring....usually some bass carrying sci fi movie or worse. haha So much for weekend morning silence.
And does one EVER get enough caffiene???

Ginny, Happy Anniversary!

Hi everyone,

Ginny, Thank heavens you finally got a good nights sleep and are back on track with the woe. You sure are going to miss DR. Will he be back again soon?

Susan, What a relief it must be to finally finish that PN class.
Oh gosh, auto insurance rates have gone up all over because of the stock market. Insurance companies lost a lot of money there and are hitting us up for it. You might want to try GE Auto insurance. It should be available there. We searched all over and their rates were the best.

Jackie, I hate house work too but am a bit obsessed about it and do it constantly. LOL I ****** about it constantly too.

Julie, Have a safe trip. It will be nice to see other family members even though it's a very sad occasion. Hopefully you can get to the resort and celebrate your anniversary.

Loretta, what's up in KY? Have you had a chance to go fishing?

Shawnee,It's going to be fun to try that nuker muffin pan. My mom will bring it up Sunday. I think I'll take it on our trip too so we can have an occasional treat. Hopefully Albertson's carries Bob's Red Mill Flax meal. Do you have those in your town?

DH is off to wally world to wander around. Tomorrow I'm having lunch with a low carber from another bb. It should be fun. Then I'll hit the grocery store with my youngest son.
Later.

Hi to all

Just a busy sort of day here. All is well. Just getting groceries and cleaning up some.

I copied Jackie's recipe for the muffins. Wonder if I could substitutue almond flour for the walnut? I am not going to make them until I run out of my rye bread. Sounds like a nice texture to eat with my Sunday eggs.

Ginny you will have those pounds gone in no time. It is nice to indulge once in a while as long as we don't go overboard. LOL on the shoes. I too thought they were for your horse.

Jackie I agree with you about the silent and alone mornings. My DH sleeps late usually but recently he is going overboard sleeping until noon or 1 pm. He gets to be around midnight or 1. I am sure to check his breathing every so often.

Linda DH went out to fish but it was just too hot and windy. I will wait until it cools off some before I go back at it. I am content puttering around the house for now. Enjoy that lunch with the other low carber.

Susan glad you are winding up things with the preg gals. Remember that the next time they are begging you to take a class. Hope your DD is getting over the stress of the pool ordeal. Does she follow the lc woe. I wonder if that could help the PMS problems.

More hot weather tomorrow. Oh well summer is about to wind up soon.

Pam glad to hear from you about the DGD. Boy your house is packed for a while.

Shawnee are you still going to and liking your Curves. I think I would tire of the "going" and not the doing. I like to be able to just go out and walk.

Later, Loretta

I have a computer question Roger if you get around to us. If my screen saver comes up before I log on to my DSL I have to reboot because it will not log on. I am thinking about uninstalling it and reinstalling it> Would that sound right to you? I will turn off the screen saver before I do it. My supplements will be here tomorrow.

Hi Y'all

The day got away from me, and I don't know why. I think I just piddled it away, doing a few essentials here and there....like giving Pup and myself pedicures..LOL

I hate housework, being outside is more fun, but its a necessary evil

Goddess, glad you are back in a good sleep mode; with your job, you sure need your rest. Hope all your Furkids and four-legged Yard Art critters are in top form.

Susan, LOL, typical Mom...even when they are grown, we still worry about them, huh?

Yup, Loretta... I try to get to Curves 3 x weekly. I don't enjoy walking in my neighborhood, too many loose dogs and cars on the road. At Curves, I work alongside DGbrat, and its fun to be together. Try Jacki's recipe, you'll be pleased

Montana, hope ya have good luck baking in the Nuker. I've had some winners and some flops...but I keep at it. Our Albertson's folded some years back, but Bob's Red Mill is in most large stores. Its based near Portland OR. Safeway and Krogers (Fred Meyer here) carry it.

Jacki, I thank you for that nice zucchini It was lunch today, egg-battered and fried. I like them waaay better than fried green tomatoes. Do ya think your foot will be totally healed before your job starts up again?

To all our regulars and lurkers...hope Life is treating ya fairly, and the Scales are kind to ya

Shawnee

Sorry it's so hot and windy there Loretta. It's just plain HUMID here.
Sure hope Roger tried to get back here after the server crashed. Maybe I'll e mail him if he doesn't show up tomorrow.

Shawnee, yeah house work is a pain but necessary. I sure wish I could get over my obsession with it then maybe I could have a nice yard.
I just did a search and found a Safeway in Missoula. Thank heavens. Now I'll look for a Krogers, just to be on the safe side. That safeway, as I remember it, isn't very nice or big. They have HUGE Albertson's and Rousars.

Where the heck is Pam.
