Hi everybody....gooey 100% humidity today (wonderful for growing mold all over the human body. Well Phonecias aerial roots are going wild sucking up the "air" <squish, squish>

Happy Anniversary, Ginny Have a nice dinner out planned?

Montana, what a cute shi-tzu! My friend finally loaded the AVG antivirus...she's grateful to you.

Packing lots of excess crapola into cardboard boxes for vacation and taking the bike apart. Looks like a drive in the rain: a WEEK of rain planned for the Northeast.

Loretta,
I thought of you as I ordered my Lecithin from Puritan this morning: 6 x 30 ounce cans (almost 6 pounds)...all for $44.60/ $48.55 with shipping. We DO go through it fast....but what a health bargain!

Bob caught his annual cold this morning....more joy to stand in the way of fun....Well NOT THIS TIME! We're going to have FUN....If it KILLS US!

Thank GOD for air conditioning...best invention since indoor plumbing!

Later gaters!

Hey gang,

Today's activities will include Outback for food Prime rib here I come! Talked to HT for just a minute yesterday and she's been in my thoughts a lot with all going on. I know she'll come through all this, she's a strong lady.

Linda, what an adorable pup! Even tho I'm partial to the big dogs, those little guys sure can grab your heart just as much.

Shawnee, working on that rain for ya. Not sure what I can do, but the thought is there! Wanna sweat on my lawnmower? Wish the yard was fenced and I could let the yard art take care of it LOL Have fun at the yard sales--I'll be there in spirit with ya!

Loretta, haven't heard much about fishing from y'all lately...too hot for them to bite or too many people on the lake? You'll definitely enjoy the canned toms this winter--sunshine in a jar!

Susan, good for you on turning down the preggo classes. If you don't wanna do 'em, just say no! Planning vacations already?

Zip, hope everything clears up for your vacation...amazing what all can try and mess with your plans.

Julie, with the abundant representation of y'all from WA, will you get a chance to all meet for lunch sometime? I wanna be there...

Jacki, lucky you having Shawnee for a neighbor! Now that you're back on the wagon, you shouldn't have trouble getting rid of the extra lbs. Please post a pic so we can see our newest member of the Magnificent Bunch!

Well, all, off to lurk for a bit.

Jacki, I can't see the pic but these bb so that sometime. I'll come back later and I'll be able to see it. Can't wait. LOL It's hard getting back on the ole woe isn't it? You'll so fine with all of nagging you and Shawnee by your side. Come ofter to the bb's and we'll offer support too.

Zip, I think this vacation is doomed!! So much going wrong. Maybe free isn't worth it! But you have a good attitude by making the best of it even if it does rain. We'll be praying to the rain gods.

Ginny, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!
Have a really nice day with hubby.
Ok, who is HT????
I have had lunch with 2 of the Goldies from Wa. So many I would like to get to town but so far away for some of them. It is fun to meet them after getting to know them on the bb.

Hi to Linda, Loretta, Susan, Shawnee and Pam. Pam, I sure hope the DGD is recouperating ok. If you are lurking, come in and leave a quick note. Julie

Hi to all

Took a break after I finished posting on the Golden BB to do some power house cleaning. That means quick not necessarily thorough. My kitchen floor was sticky where I had refilled the hummingbird feeder. Dusted and vacuumed though and got the floor mopped up. NO cob web detail today. Good thing our house is small.

Zip I'm glad you posted that cost of the lecithin. I will be going Tuesday to purchase my next supply. With the 20% discount I will be paying $6 a pound. I think that's a deal for me. Does Bob take it also? Sorry about the rain in the forecast. I think you should just go and have a great time. getting away from the routine will be enjoyable even if it does rain. Hope your other "things" are under control.

Ginny HAPPY 16TH ANNIVERSARY . Enjoy that prime rib. One of my very favorites. Yes who is HT? Have not been fishing lately, but DH has been picking up some very nice crappie. Not quantity but quality.

Jackie I cannot see your picture either. So you are the one who got Shawnee started on this lc baking. I love the stuff but sure have to watch my portions. It is wonderful to be able to eat like that when I thought I was done for in that regard. Great tasting food too.

Julie hope DDIL is doing ok and will not have to be induced. Be great it she just went naturally. Did you find that chair yet?

Linda that dog is precious. What a cute face. My DS would call that a "wanna be" dog. Just a bunch of fluff. Maybe you will be able to dog sit next time.

Shawnee enjoy that Yards Sale. There is a bigger one that starts here in KY and goes down to Ten this weekend. Count me out. Hope you find some nifty treasures today. Let us know how it turns out.

Susan 37 years what a number for you and DH. Great. Glad you enjoyed your shopping trip yesterday. LoL also on the when are you due? Jackie will get to know us soon then she will really be giving us the business. Stick with the tobacco if that is where you are most comfortable.

Will check back later and see if I can get Jackies pic or if Shawnee has a report.

Hi everyone,

Roger, A rain storm at the beach can be quite lovely. Enjoy every minute of it.
Dear Lord!! Poor Bob. I sure hope the cold doesn't disrupt your much needed vacation too much.
Don't overpack. All you really need are a few changes of clothes and your speedo. I've gotten to the point where I can take 3 prs. of jeans, 5 changes of undies, several Tee shirts, 2 pr of sleep snuggies and a dress outfit for a cross country trip of 6 weeks. There are allways washers and dryers to be found.

Ginny, I'm glad HT is doing ok. I wouldn't trust that coke addict one little bit though. Hopefully she will get a restraining order and a GUN.
Big dogs are my favorite too but this little guy is so cute and soo good...Well except for one little poop on my flokati carpet.. The picture I posted yesterday is not him but one that looks just like him. I'll post Nicko's picture later when I get it downloaded from the digital.

Julie, What are you up to today and has it cooled down? Boy it got HOT and HUMID here. UGH. I wanted to clean the car but not in this.

Loretta, yes have you been fishing?
Got to keep this little guy from about 10:30 this am till 6ish. My son and his family are a bit worried about leaving the little guy. Sheesh, they are more concerned about leaving him than the kids with me.

Filling a humming bird feeder can make a sticky mess. LOL I feel guilty buying a bag of sugar when needed for them. Humm, I wonder if they would go for splenda.

Jackie, Darn I can't see the picture. When you use photo island, do you click on "link for Auction"? If not, the picture will only stay on there for about 10 minutes. Click on the picture, scroll down...on the left you will see it. Click "highlight" and ctrl C. Then post it here.

Shawnee, we are anxiously awaiting news of your bargin finds at that sale.

Susan and Pam, HI...

Linda,
I'm a hopeless overpacker...I just decided AGAINST the telescope. We're even bringing a coffeepot!

Loretta, I screwed up the weight: that 6 x 30 oz. = 180 ounces is 11.25 pounds so at $48.55 it's $4.32/lb.
Yep we both take lecithin daily (and cod liver oil.)

HI, Just talked to DIL and if she hasn't had the baby by 6:00p.m. on Tuesday eve. then she's to go to the hospital for induction. Sure would be nice to go naturally though. My last one was induced and not a fun thing.

Loretta, I did find a chair at Office Depot but it's for my Birthday and so it's still in the box. Will wait. Yes, my toe is doing much better. The soaking, pumice and bag balm are helping to keep the pressure off it. Do I have to do this the rest of my life? I'm looking for the perfect pair of shoes for winter. Wide enough...I wear a 5 1/2 shoe and my toe span is about the same. I would say, I have a square foot. As wide as it is long. No kidding!!! I have the worse time finding shoes that fit. Most shoe manufactors now, only sell wide's in 6 or up. Sometimes I can wear a 6. Oh well!! Sorry you asked?

Linda, yes, the weather has cooled to mid 70's. Perfect for me. Ok, can you tell Loretta and I what HT stands for?

Jacki, still can't see your pic. Sorry girl.

Roger, on the Washington coast we have fabulous storms in the winter. The next morning we go hiking and find the most incredatable things that have washed up.

Hi Guys!

Flying in to say Hi! Looks like you guys have had a busy day. Jacki I could not see the pic! Sorry!

Bin shoppin with DD bedding sales, she spent $300.00 she has guests coming from the UK on Wednesday, so good time to do up the spare bedrooms. A goose down duvet for $70.00, 2 sheet sets, 8 pillows $197.00 then of course 3 pair of jeans for her another $100.00 in the sales at Old Navy, then her special flavoured olive oils.

I got nothing of course, just did lots of waiting around and making sure she bought the right sizes of everything. She just dropped me off, gotta get changed and ready to go over to her place for a BBQ and Cards tonight. She has to run in the grocery store on the way home too! Busy gal and high maintenance! LOL!

It is her birthday tomorrow, so we are all going out to a fancy Golf Club restaurant for supper. She doesnt know but her DH has ordered the Limo agin! The only time "I" get to feel special too! A pleasant slow ride around first before we go into the restaurant, so I am not the DDriver tomorrow! I usually am!

Oh, I wanted to mention a really good program, "THE HOUR OF POWER" is on "Lifetime" TV at 8a.m EDT and 7a.m Central time tomorrow morning. We get it up here and if I cant watch it I tape it, really good lessons for life!

HAVE A WONDERFUL SATURDAY NIGHT!

Hi again,

Julie, I sure hope that poor thing has the baby really soon.
When is your birthday?? Heck, I would take that chair out of the box and use it now.
Glad your toe is better. LOL I have square feet too, but mine are a 1/2 size longer than yours.

Roger, Why a coffee pot? Don't they have one at the beach house? Years ago I was a hopeless over packer too but learned the hard way. It's a pain in the azz to unpack and wash stuff that we don't even use.

Susan, Have fun at the BBQ and BD Party .. A limo ride is always special.
BTW what is that program about?

OK here is little Nicko

He is still here because they aren't back from Scranton yet. Humm, they were going to be home an hour ago.

edited to add: OMG this doesn't look good. It's just outside of Glacier at West Glacier.

Linda, that fire looks very deadly!!! Stay away from it!!

I just downloaded the "patch" to fix the glitch on Microsoft XP. Have you done it yet Linda? I get a email from the "Kim Kimando" on computer tips and she had a gov. site to go to that forwarded you on to microsoft. If you need it Linda, let me know. Looking for a free firewall to load and found one on "zonelabs." Is that the one you told us about earlier? Can I do it if I already have Norton downloaded. I mean, can I have both with no problems?

Nicko is soooo cute. i want one!! hmmmmm..don't think my DH would let me have another one that needs grooming all the time. Know of any cute small dogs that don't need a constant cutting.

Susan, sounds like a fun day, at least for your DD. LOL You sound like you have a very close relationship. How wonderful for you both. The Hour of Power is evidently not on here in the PDT. Darn!! If you know when or if it runs here, let me know please.

Hey y'all,

Ohhhhhh I'm stuffed! That 16 oz prime rib and all the trimmings sure was good.

HT is Horsetrainer, and she's fixing to get divorced. She's the gal that lives practically in my back yard that I met from this site.

Jacki, the pics just showed the dreaded red x, Will have to try to look later.

Getting lazy now, too well fed, I reckon!

What a gabby group this eveing.

Ginny glad you enjoyed that prime rib. Hope the best for HT. Those divorces are never an easy part of life. Once you get done with it you can get on with your life. But it is a sad and painful time of life.

Julie I have fat feet too. I usually buy wide shoes and find it easier to get them from a catalog. Most stores around here do not carry wide widths. Glad to hear that the corn is getting better.

Linda that Nicko is just too cute. Makes you want to cuddle him. He looks pretty frisky to me. How does Gerard handle that? Those fires look terrifying. Hope you can still go on vacation.

Zip that is a good price. Don't know why I want to pay more except I like going down to the store and shopping around. I really should order them on line and save. Hey I take my coffepot along when I visit DH's sister up north. My own coffee and water too. They have the worst water there.

Shawnee is still out at the sales.

Jackie I saw your picture once and now I see red x. I think it is the photo island site.

Julie, what patch?? I just did the latest update sent by micro soft but can't quite remember what it was. It did have to do with security. I would appreciate it if you would send me the info.

Ginny, a 16 oz prime rib Where on earth did you put it? One year in Myrtle Beach we went to a steak house that served "free" 96 oz steaks if you could eat it plus a salad and baked potato. I was amazed at the number of small females who did it. Yikes!! Brings to mind John Candy in that crazy movie.( name escapes me right now?
That eye candy just made my night. Thanks.

Loretta, that little pup is so good, well except for the accident. He played with Gerard for a few minutes then slept off and on. He really isn't too frisky. What a sweetie.

Wow Jackie, you are a pretty woman. And those flowers are magnificant. Can you come here for a year or two and help me with a garden?

More later

YEAH ! Pictures!

Hi Y'all

Great day here, only low Eighties. We hit the Garage Sales before 8 AM, walking til Noon-thirty before we called it quits. Then Lunch at a Buffet, where I seemed to have shocked my companions with the amount of food I put away ...normally I am NOT a volume eater, but I happened to be ravenous, and the variety was fabulous........and I didn't have to cook it! DGBrat wasn't ready to call it a day yet, so we went to a couple shops, then more Garage sales on the way home. Can we say "Pooped out"? LOL

Guess DGBrat and I are getting picky (plus running out of house space!) because we indulged lightly at the sales. Mostly books, a little jewelry, some kitchen wares. Saw some fab antique furniture at various places, but we lost out to the SOLD signs. One of our buddies, on the other hand, has just completed building their new log home, and planning a baby....so she went wild with the bargains. It was fun to see her excitement.
Came home with a pocket full of money we didn't spend, so may go to a Casino next week

Ginny, your DH is great with that camera; what a BEAUTY! Lovely!( Name, Please )
Thanks for the "rain" wishes, gonna hold ya to them....LOL
WOW, SIXTEEN OZ of STEAK in your skinny lil body, you are the CHAMP. Glad y'all enjoyed your Anniversary. Jacki hasn't seen your PI Albums, impress the pants off her with them. Sad situation with HT, hope she and DD can get some peace soon.

Jacki, great shot of you with those cosmos You are one of those lucky ol' broads who looks younger than your Driver's Lic says...heheee (but still a Spring Chicken to some of us!) Are the Pan Patties ready yet? BEST squash in the world! Love your pic. Where's the one with Roy? He is an Atkins winner (loser ) Maintainer. Ha, I think his success is mostly due to your lovely muffins!

Montana, that Pup looks like a Snuggles baby, so precious.
Girl, those fires in MT were on our local news, so sad and scarey.
Sure am hoping that situation (and all the other fires) gets under control quickly. How's your Tom plant doing?

Loretta, you are a serious Coffee drinker, when you transport your own water and pot!..and I totally relate Doing any work with your embroidery machine?

Susan, sounds like you and DD had a fun shopping adventure. How cool, a Limo ride. Your DSIL really knows how to do it up right! How's lil Oliver?

Hi to Tink, hope you and Family are all ok.

ZIP, sending Positive waves to you and Bob, that your obstacles melt and you can get on with your trip.

Julie, Best Wishes to your long-suffering preggie DIL. NOT fun being full term in summer heat.

Have a nice evening, Y'all.

Shawnee

Finally got back here. Mariner's won big tonight so I'm in a glorious mood.

Ginny, glad you enjoyed your prime rib. I really prefer a good fillet mignon myself. I think it goes back to the fat free thing we use to do.
Oh boy, ginny that orchid (to be named later, ok?) is just the most beautiful one I've seen in a long time. Phonecia was too Zip. What kind is it too. is it a Phal? Your DH is a great photographer too. I can't quit looking at it!!! Now Linda, doesn't that make you want to go get one tomorrow??

Shawnee, had the purse tightly closed today huh? Sure go gamble it now. That sounds like more fun to me anyhow.

Jacki, how old are you anyway...25??? Glad to finally meet you in person. The Cosmos are so big I can't believe it. I love those flowers and especially the foilage.

Linda, hope you got the info on the Patch. For others, it's about the massive strike feared for Windows. There is a flaw in Microsoft Windows and if you don't Patch it, hackers can get into your computer. Here's the link to check it out.
http://www.nipc.gov/warnings/advisor...ial7302003.htm
