Good morning to you all at the crack of 4AM...AGAIN!
Bought a nice pair of plain black Speedos yesterday- NOT EASY. Only Modell's sells any male swimware that doesn't extend halfway down the calf-- might as well swim in JEANS. Scotched the Allentown trip next weel- too tough with New England Monday next. Allentown when we get back. I'll have computer access either by reformatting an old tank PC at the house (newer has no isp and my ISP won't play the Apple Game). Failing that, the Public Library with INTERNET is a couple blocks away! Just have to remember to bring a page of passwords and ADDYS. No plans today- theater tomorrow. Sounds like our weather will get quite nice starting today. Roger

Good morning Roger and all who follow.
It's raining cats and dogs here with thunder storms around. UGH. We will get soaked walking from the parking lot to the hospital. Gerard is scheduled around noon but we are required to be there by 10am. My God you are up early! It's good that you will have some computer access when you get to the beach house Roger. If you forget passwords you can still retrieve them from your e mail. I do that all the time when away from home. What Rt. are you taking to get there? Waving to Shawnee, Loretta, Julie, Pam and Susan. More later. |

Hey gang,
Tired today, forgoing my Friday trip to town. The chit hit the fan at work last night and I wound up having to stay till 1:30...ugh. There's a manager there that is not very popular and he received an email calling him the biggest a$$hole, etc. Anyways the sender of the email signed one of the shipping guys (3rd shift)'s name to it, so they were fixing to fire him. He says he didn't send it, and why would he be stupid enough to put his name on something like that in the first place. Looks like someone is trying to set him up. So, they gave him the night off pending resolution. It was originated from a Yahoo account, which ANYONE could have set up! SHeesh! This co-worker has locked horns with a few people in the plant, but I'd have never thought that anyone would be hateful enough to do THAT! We'll see what they determine tonight when I go in. Hopefully they will be able to figure out who did it and proceed from there. I would imagine after this, my co-worker will probably be in the hunt for another job even if they keep him. That would really hack me off for someone to do me that way! Not only was that going on, but I was slammed with work last night, so I was whupped anyways. Will be glad when this week is over....looking for a hole to crawl into and get some rest LOL Hope everyone is doing ok, waving to all....more later if I get the chance!

Hi my cyber friends
I sure feel seperated from you all since being involved with this company. Getting a break today. One set has gone home and another set has gone to a motorcycle rally. I do not want a ride on the bike. I am old and my bones will not heal easily when I lean the wrong way on a curve. I have been on bikes before. We had a nice dinner last evening with 8 all total. Then we invited a cousin in this area to come over and meet his second cousins. We had dessert then (I passed on that) and played some Michigan Rummy. I snuck out early and went to bed. The other guests are leaving on Sunday. That might be it for a while. Linda I am thinking about you and Gerard today. Hope all is going well for you there at the hospital. Please no extra problems this time. Zip glad you found the right Speedo. Glad you got the internet connection (library) figured out. That will probably be the easiest solution. I don't blame you for postponing your trip to Allentown. You will have too many things going on at once. I got my task bars back together now. Ginny what an ordeal at work. Some people can be so hateful and abuse it. I sure hope that they find the right sender and he gets in deep trouble. Too bad you ended up with that plus a heavy day at work. Susan glad to hear you are having nice weather in Canada. Did Oliver get settled down and is your neighbors hot tub installed now. THey can be quite nice. My DS had one and I enjoyed it. Will your class with the pregnant gals be done soon. I cannot believe that one of my DH's daughters that smokes asked him to hold her lit cigarette for her while she was doing something. Unbelievable. She used to nag her dad to quit smoking all the time... Poor Dh he followed those smokers around trying to inhale the smoke, but he sure has a strong will not to light up. Shawnee hope you are well and busy out in the garden playing with pup. My toms are coming in nicely now and I should be canning soon. They are delicious. My flaxmeal muffins are great but I should have left the blueberries out. Maybe next time. They did not raise up too high but that is ok too. Julie how long will your friends be staying? Hope you don't get too stressed about the food. I saw the picture of you and MaryT and sitka at lunch. Nice photo. Glad you can get together with them. I envy you all that treat. Hey Pam what's happening out there? Have you been out there winning more money and or prizes. Hope all the kids and gks are doing ok. Are you still at the Tux store? Time for fruit. Later, Loretta |

Finally getting here. Roger, when are you leaving? How long will you be gone? Will you miss us? I think that library sounds like the best way.
Ginny, I can't believe someone could be so cruel. Where do you work, I forgot? You are in great need of the weekend. Do you work full time? All these questions are just flowing here, huh? ooops, another question! LOL Loretta dear, I bet you are going to collapse when the door finally shuts!! Our company should only be here Sunday til Tuesday. Not bad! Sure will be glad when they leave though. Not sure if they eat 3 squares or not. A big breakfast and we usually don't eat lunch but some people do. Oh well! Shawnee, sure was a quick run through. Whats ya up to? Linda, sure hope Gerard is doing ok. Susan and Pam, where are you two? Julie

Linda, Hugs to you and Gerard! Hope all goes smoothly!
Julie, I work in a heat treating plant and since I'm in shipping I'm all over the place so I hear lots. This mess happened to the 3rd shift guy in our dept, so that's why I wound up covering. Yep, full timer here...ugh! Will be interesting to see if anyone lets info slip as to who did it My co-worker will be back on Sunday. I reckon they finally figured out he didn't send the email. Duh. Thank God it's the weekend. |

Back again for a look see.
OMG Roger the Conn. Turnpike? You drive really carefully and try to avoid rush hr. That is a nutso drive. Be sure to check in with us ASAP because you know we mother hens will be worried sick.BTW we want to see a picture of you in that Speedo ![]() Ginny, what a mess when people work together, eh? I've seen a lot of it over the years. Glad that guy was proven innocent. Hopefully you can rest and recover this weekend. Julie, it's great to have you back with us. We missed you. Shawnee, geezzzz girl what the hell are you so busy with? Come on and kick back a bit. We worry about you too. Loretta, It's great that you are enjoying the company but enough is enough. You and your dh need to enjoy your peace and quiet. Glad you got your task bar back. I sure wouldn't even begin to know how to do a reformat or even try to fix that problem. How did you do it? Where the heck are Susan and Pam today? Come on girls, check in please. Dh did fine with the procedure. So far except for passing lots of blood. Doc said it may happen. It's going to be a sleepless nite for me again. Darn. At lest he is pain free so far. See you tomorrow sometime. Linda |
