Mornin' gang!
Wow, the summer is moving along, huh? Cool and rainy here today and looks like tomorrow will be the same. Can't say as I mind too much since I really prefer to wear jeans to work for safety reasons. I will most certainly be back in shorts when the heat returns. Shawnee, not much reason for me to wear a bra, except the bouncing of my forklift would hurt! Yes, even as small as I am LOL. At least I don't have to worry about sagging...cuz you have to have something that is large enough to SAG! Linda, personal alarms? Have they had many instances where an employee needed one? Sheesh. I know you all are trained in take-downs and such, but even them thinking this was necessary would make me nervous. Be careful, please! Zip, I'm sure glad our bank is easier to deal with! Go get 'em, big guy! Hope the tinnitus leaves permanently very soon. Loretta, at this rate, you're gonna have tomato trees by the end of summer. Are you enjoying all the nice cool weather too? Pam, CONGRATULATIONS on winning the cruise! Woohoo, way to go, girl! That would be a great way to spend your anniversary I've never been on one, but have heard they're wonderful!Julie, hope you get your back figured out quick. That's no fun having spasms. Glad you got an appt before your camping trip, maybe they can figure it out and get you some relief before you go. Susan, has this been an unusually warm summer for you? DR's DGF in New Brunswick had temps of 46 celsius last week there which is very strange for them. I know you're a good bit away from there, but don't know if your weather passes through to them or not?Well, all, off to lurk for a bit. Will check back in later as time allows.

NOT TO PLAY FAVORITES
Hi to all
Any one else having trouble with this bb or is it my DSL. I want to blame something. I could play some solitaire while waiting for the screens to switch. Well it could be my computer Well gals I don't fit the picture. I like my bras and feel very comfortable in them. Underwires no less. I can't stand swinging loose. I weighed a little under 120 this morning. I sure have been consistent even cutting out my lc treats and eating more protein meals, putting nuts on my fruit. I will do so for another month or so to see if it makes any difference next month. I should be content that was my goal and it has stuck with me like glue. What else can I ask for? I remember gaining the weight back before so I really think that this woe is a blessing for me. Pam Congratulations on winning that cruise. You are one lucky lady. Good idea to plan it for your anniversary in the fall. That will be such a nice time of the year to go cruising. Julie sorry that your back is giving you a problem. Hope they can ease you up. Try Zips suggestion to. Some times "ergomonics" do play a part in our aches and pains,. Hope it does not prevent you from having a nice camping trip. Do you take omega 3 fish oil? I think that helps keep our joints and moving parts oiled. Zip I like having time to my self while DH fishes. I can clean house or knock myself out in the yard and not have to worry about feeding or entertaining him. We are both happy. Today he is out fishing and I am multi tasking, washing clothes, ironing, embroidering on the machine etc. I love it. Linda I sure hope the egg shells work. We have lots of critter problems here too. That is why I put those Hostas in pots and then in the ground. I am sick of seeing the devastation those critters cause. Hey Susan HAPPY CANADA DAY Hope you and DH are off celebrating the day with family and or friends. Later, Loretta |

Just a few back yard posies.
I think my white and purple flowers are lobiella? Shawnee? They came with some other flowers that I have since separated. I put the lobiella? in with my Dward Alberta Spruce in the container and put Geraniums where the snap dragons once were. Yeah for the spray-n-grow. OH, YUM, YUM, YUM !
PURDY Pictures...Loretta, THANKS! Gorgeous, wonderful Eye Candy SO healthy! Frankly, m'dear...Those blooms on the "Lobelia" look kinda LARGE...heheehee, I KNOW its a tiny lil flower, but I'm thinking its probably Campanula, which is great! Think its maybe a Perennial , which is a plus....anyhoo...the Lobelia available here has smaller blooms than in your purdy pics.. ![]() Here's a pic of Lobelia...it has (from what I can see in your pic) a very different petal pattern.. http://plantsdatabase.com/showpicture/2277 ..compare these Campanula pics and see if they are similar to yours.. http://www.morinurseries.com/Perenni...ampanula6.html http://www.morinurseries.com/Perenni...ampanula2.html YES, I need my uninterrupted "alone" time and so does Bob. Jeans? you mean, there's other options ? LOL ![]() Montana, I use a "push" for the front and back; too many tight places and corners for the monster rider...he takes care of the "second" back yard (huge), and the ol' antique Ford 8N tractor mows down the pasture...which needs doing. ![]() Got the push mower work done, spruced up the pond, got the pump running well...pulled weeds...LOL..now I have about 10 x that much more that needs doing, but I have to save some strength for CURVES...LOL Went there today, had a good sweat. Then DGBrat and I went shopping for lawn chairs...our old ones are OLD..anyhoo, the good news was they are Discounted now, time to make way for FALL stuff. Bad news, I couldn't find 8 matching ones...so got a variety, and set the matching ones in groups out in the yard...gives the Birds something new to drop their "bombs" on. Susan, Glad you had such a good day with Family. ![]() Julie, perhaps try practicing some Relaxing techniques? Glad to hear the Tom recovered ![]() Goddess, aren't you about due to post some new pics of Family...Home...anything??? LOL OK, I admit it, I wear a Bra too...in Public ![]() Do Y'all remember something about Howard Hughes having a special bra designed for Jane Russell, based on the specs of a suspension bridge....probably in the Forties..? ZIP...My youngest GB was on Pred for awhile..MOONFACE! Even had an old Lab with Arthritis that took it..poor darlin' , he was also Hypothyroid, and took meds for that too. Hope you are feeling BETTER!Tink, are you gonna be shopping for a slinky, "sunshine" cruise wardrobe? later ShawneeLast edited by shawneesioux : 07-02-2003 at 01:56 AM. |
