First day of July
Good morning magnificant ones.
Pam, wow a huge congratulations on winning that cruise. You deserve to get away and relax. Julie, OUCH!! hopefully the doctor will have an answer for the back pain. You don't need to hurt while on your camping trip. Keep us posted. Shawnee, Barbaric harnesses is the best description I've heard yet about those darn bras. I'll be saving those egg shells starting today and give them a try in my "garden". LOL such as it is. Roger, hopefully you are feeling better today. Sometimes these golden years aren't what they are cracked up to be. Loretta and Ginny, are you getting rain from the tropical storm Bill? Susan must be working her tail off. I'm in a rush to get to work but more later. Linda |

OK, I picked the one with THREE posts instead of TWO.
Ginny, it looks like HUGE rain coming your way and Loretta's...then out over the Atlantic will suit me fine. Julie, I have a suggestion if your monitor is off to the left or the right. On a monthly or every second month SWITCH the monitor to the other side of the desk....it WORKS, believe me- cured my upper back and neck. Maybe even if it on center moving it left and right might also help. Linda, How much prednisone was Gerard taking daily? Did he gain weight from it and find himself eating all day long? They prescribed 50 mg. for me for 5 days. I'm afraid and am using 30 mg/day. When I cured my shingles in only 2 weeks with prednisone (self-prescribed), I slowly upped to 30 and back down to zero over about 3 weeks....no after effects which is amazing since many suffer from post-shingles for MONTHS. I knew to start the first week....even some MD's are too dumb to keep up on this treatment. Anyhoo, I'm gaining weight and fearful of MOON FACE with more than 30mg. Pam, Tell us all about that cruise. Where does it go? or is it a "cruise to nowhere." You'll have to fast beforehand because the food will be irresistable. Nice shopping at ShopRite....great peaches (yummy sweet ) at $.79/lb. (more than I like to pay. Two beautiful African violets, white and red-purple to round out my color spectrum...$.99. At this price why propogate them, no matter how easy. ShopRite is our greatest asset down here. Huge new fancy shmancy restaurant opening next door but prices are $8.95 hamburger to $29.95 T-Bone. Not cheap but very prett, like a 40's night club (which I only know from the movies, thank you). ![]() Bob doing his weekly "day off" and eating up New York culture all day. I'll CLEAN!.......hmmmm, what's wrong with this picture? LOL (Actually for going to work as much as he does while I sit and surf the web, anything he does is alright with me (within reason, of course, ROFL.) Beautiful day...started at 58 going to 80, bright sun, no pollution! RARE for July 1.

Hi to all
Any one else having trouble with this bb or is it my DSL. I want to blame something. I could play some solitaire while waiting for the screens to switch. Well it could be my computer Well gals I don't fit the picture. I like my bras and feel very comfortable in them. Underwires no less. I can't stand swinging loose. I weighed a little under 120 this morning. I sure have been consistent even cutting out my lc treats and eating more protein meals, putting nuts on my fruit. I will do so for another month or so to see if it makes any difference next month. I should be content that was my goal and it has stuck with me like glue. What else can I ask for? I remember gaining the weight back before so I really think that this woe is a blessing for me. Pam Congratulations on winning that cruise. You are one lucky lady. Good idea to plan it for your anniversary in the fall. That will be such a nice time of the year to go cruising.Julie sorry that your back is giving you a problem. Hope they can ease you up. Try Zips suggestion to. Some times "ergomonics" do play a part in our aches and pains,. Hope it does not prevent you from having a nice camping trip. Do you take omega 3 fish oil? I think that helps keep our joints and moving parts oiled. Zip I like having time to my self while DH fishes. I can clean house or knock myself out in the yard and not have to worry about feeding or entertaining him. We are both happy. Today he is out fishing and I am multi tasking, washing clothes, ironing, embroidering on the machine etc. I love it. Linda I sure hope the egg shells work. We have lots of critter problems here too. That is why I put those Hostas in pots and then in the ground. I am sick of seeing the devastation those critters cause. Hey Susan HAPPY CANADA DAY Hope you and DH are off celebrating the day with family and or friends. Later, Loretta |

Oh my, Ginny and I must have been posting at the same time, eh?
Well sometimes more is better. ![]() Loretta, I haven't had a bit of problem with the bb. but haven't been on much since I put this up. Love the pictures on Ginny's thread. My pots are rather ratty looking right now. Hopefully they will fill out soon. I hear ya on the not too much togetherness. DH and I do our own things too. Shawnee, Hope you didn't work too hard on that mower. Is it a push or riding mower? Roger, gerard took 60 mg. once a day for 5 days. I can't tell if he ate more cause he is always eating. LOL Just protein mostly because he really watches it and stays really close to induction all the time.. His face was swollen so I couldn't tell if he had a "moon face". His weight remains consistant at 147 and he's 5'10. I think he's too thin but he likes it. Hopefully the water retention will stop for you and that ear noise will clear up. Pam, we are waiting to hear all about that trip..come on don't keep us hanging. Julie, How's the back ? I hope your doctor can get to the bottom of it soon. Shopping for the entire gang? How did you get stuck with that?Susan, hope you had a good day. Happy Canada Day. off to lurk a bit and catch up. Last edited by LoveMontana : 07-01-2003 at 10:19 PM. |
