Suggestions?

I need advice. I have been a low carber on and off for many years. I recently tried a new very low calorie, no fat, moderate carb diet in which I successfully lost 28 lbs in 10 weeks. I decided I was too hungry and wanted to go back to my low carb way of eating.
I haven't been able to lose a single pound in 3 months. I am wondering if I have damaged my metabolisim by doing such a low fat low calorie diet and yo yo dieting? Any thoughts?
I still have another 15 pounds to go. I am tempted to go back to my extreme diet but know that low carb is far healthier....

I'm not sure about metabolic damage....but you just dropped a lot of weight very quickly while restricting calories a lot. Your body is going to take a while to catch up to that. It's not likely to let go of more weight right away.

Have you maintained while LCing? Usually coming off very low calorie plans regain is inevitable. If you've maintained your losses that's a win.

It's also much harder to lose the closer you get to goal. I'd take a little time to bring your daily maintenance calories up to your TDEE. Keeping it LC should help prevent weight gain. A few weeks up there should help your metabolism too.

Good luck!

Thank you for your advice

I have maintained and I agree, that is what's important! I just needed to hear what you just said to keep me from going back to that horrible low-calorie diet!!
