Fast food and cheese?

Does anyone know if the cheese that is used at Arby's and Wendy's is real cheese? I don't want to eat fake cheese by mistake.

I highly doubt it. I think for Wendy's it is just a processed "cheese" slice made with vegetable oil. Not sure on Arby's but I would guess it is just a melted version of the same.

Most places have the ingredients on their web sites.
I'd bet it's similar to American cheese slices (like Kraft).

Thank you both. Looks like Arby's is fake and Wendy's is real.

Interesting! I would have expected the opposite. Glad I chose a bunless burger at Wendy's last night then.

Yeah Denise. Glad I checked that Arby's it says Cheeder cheese sauce. To me that just does not sound like the real thing so I'm not risking it.
