I have cabbage every day, sometimes more than once. I love it in stir fries, creamed, with alfredo, fried with onions and hot links, the basis of cheesy casseroles, etc. It is definitely my staple food! And it is affordable

Is caffeine a food?

I guess I probably don't have one food item that I have to have every day.

Hands down, the most important and versatile food item for my woe is eggs.
The most enjoyable, however, is meat candy (AKA bacon) while the most essential is probably spinach. I do love my HWC, butter and coconut oil blended coffees, though.

I have to have my daily coffee. Other most common foods are almonds and cheese. I love the convenience of nuts as a snack and they are so tasty

For me, coffee. But it isn't a food, is it? It is a drink. But I cannot be without it. Drink it 3 times a day. I can go without food, because I put in a lot of heavy whipping cream in my coffee. Haha.

There's not really anything I eat *every* day because part of low-carbing for me was to get a grip of any food 'cravings' and nourish my body rather than respond to psychological "requests" for things I don't need/really want. I do, however, drink coffee or tea most days and eat a lot more eggs than I used to!

There is no "one food" I have to have every day. What I DO have to have every day is a LC woe that offers variety, freshness, flavor and satisfaction. At a year and a half in, I'm finding this IS possible, doable and enjoyable. And I look forward to adding to the many ways still out there to make it even better.

Cauliflower. I love it raw, steamed, boiled, fried, pureed, roasted, sliced, diced, dipped in ranch dressing, riced, slathered in butter, sauted, and made into soup. Whew.
