SF syrups

Wow, we really stocked up on the sugar free syrups. The cinnamon Vanilla is so good in coffee and I like the peach in green tea. We Have a lot more flavors to try that haven't been opened yet!

Large bottles for only 3.99 each when you buy 6 or more! This much syrup will last a long time. My husband is using them too. We got them at Smart & Final. Our SAMs club doesn't carry syrups anymore.

I love them and get them from Smart & Final and a few other places too.

I tend to use them mostly in savory dishes, myself.

What kind of savory dishes do you use the SF syrups in? So far I've only used it in drinks. Mostly coffee, love my coffee!

I use to have a whole cupboard for them. I get them at Cash & Carry. If you have an isi whipper it makes great flavored whipped cream too. Nice for dessert. I mostly use them in coffee too, but you can make your own shaved ice too.

Divinci Hazelnut has brought back very happy fuzzy mornings for me with my coffee! Also, the Rasberry and Banana are amazing for "little" sweet treats here and there with cottage cheese or cream cheese. And ya should last a few years...except the hazelnut.

The fruity flavors like raspberry and mango are good in iced tea, too.
I found that torani does better fruit flavors than davinci. (IMO) and Monin does the best chocolate and white chocolate flavors.
We don't have any stores, other than walmart, that carry any of them, so I buy from netrition -can't beat the flat shipping rate no matter how many bottles you order

I also buy from Netrition. It is good to support this site because without Netrition, there would be no Lowcarbfriends and I really depend on LCF for support or I would never lose weight. I have checked other sites and their shipping is so much higher. Especially if you need just a few things. I really like the fact that their shipping is a flat rate.

What's a Smart and Final? Don't tell me Sam's not carry them any more where you live... no no no ... That's the only place I find them and it's almost 90 mins away... Gosh, I seriously hope our Sam doesn't stop selling them....

Smart & Final is a small discount grocery store. I think the big box stores don't all carry the same items, have found that out when traveling. The Costco we went to on our vacation didn't have the peeled hard boiled eggs like the Costco does where we live.

If your Sam's Club has the syrups now, hopefully they will continue carrying them.

Though I must say that a lot of the things we have really liked at Sam's and Costco they have stopped selling. it's upsetting for sure.

For instance, I used the raspberry in my spicy chicken last night (it had sambal oelek and garlic, among other flavors). I add a little of one or the other syrup to my BBQ sauce, chili, pulled pork, sweet and sour cabbage, ginger garlic marinade, all kinds of things. You generally can't taste the syrup itself, but it will add to the overall flavor.

I also add raspberry, peach, or strawberry to my SF lemonade and other drinks sometimes.

A little coconut syrup added to a Pepsi One is a nice treat, and a viable induction-friendly alternative to the coconut rum and Diet I used to drink.

Mango is really good mixed with mayo for a seafood accompaniment.

Does anyone know of any syrups that DON'T use Splenda (sucralose)? I just don't like it and it is in every sf syrup I have found.

Thanks!

Monin is a blend of erythritol (Eridex™ brand as sweetener) and sucralose. The sucralose is the lesser amount, further down on the ingredients list.

NuNaturals NuStevia Cocoa Syrup is stevia sweetened. I haven't tried it.

For just sweetener with flavor (not syrup), sweetleaf makes flavored stevia drops, too.

cinnamon vanilla sounds good, I have not seen that one. I will have to keep an eye out for it. I buy sugar free monin online. The erythitol does not affect my weight loss or ketosis negatively and I like the taste better than the splenda sweetened ones

I'll often pick up a bottle or two and TJMAXX or Homegoods. They also carry Jordans. They will have a flavor then it will be gone. I really stock up at Netrition though on the ones I really like. One day, I thought , that I miss sweet n sour chicken so much at the Chinese restaurant. I took 2/3 cup of Pineapple Davinici's and mixed with 1/3 cup of SF Ketchup. So easy and delicious over cooked chicken, with peppers and onions!

Still have some Davinci's that date back to '04 and are still good. I have too many favorites to list them all but they are a wonderful product!

For anyone that likes "cookie butter", netrition is now carrying the syrup it's based on:
Torani Sugar Free Syrup
Sugar Free Syrup, Belgian Cookie
I can say, from personal experience, it's really good
