You aren't really tempted by the cake mixes on the baking aisle (where you go to find sugar subs) because you are looking forward to a classic wedge salad when you get home.

Chemical feast indeed. And why feel tempted when you can go and make your own LC version at home?

Exactly. My blueberry muffins are good, if I do say so myself.

You say pretentious-sounding things like "Oh I don't eat anything that grows underground" at Sunday dinner.

You hold your 'sandwiches' together with cocktail sticks.

You know the carb/fat/calorie content of what other people consider to be 'healthy foods'...

and...

Your skin is good, your hair is shiny, you are full of energy and feel amaaaaaazing!

LOVE the "pretentious things' comment! Made me laugh because I had never thought of it in that way!

lol! I couldn't say that, as I love garlic, onions, truffles, radishes and a few other subterranean denizens; however, when offered a pear a few days ago, I did respond with "I'm limiting my intake of reproductive tissues."

@Mr Geiri: A possible solution to your popper breading conundrum: crushed pork rinds mixed with seasonings of your choice.

You know you're a low carber when...

you keep over 10 kinds of oil stocked, knowledgeably using every one of them on a regular basis, and have eaten straight spoonfuls of each.

you see the suet bird feeder blocks at the store and wonder if something like that would hold up well in a bento box or pannier on long bike rides.

Well, if you're on a long bike ride and you see one of those feeder blocks in someone's yard, you can stop for a snack.

Your non-LC BF is so indoctrinated by you, he even tries to explain your 'crazy' WOE to his family so you don't have to...

Ha. Yes. Although I prefer 'educated'/'enlightened' rather than 'indoctrinated'.

You eat shrimp for two meals in one day and in neither was it fried or served with french fries (one salad and one stir fry).

Someone had mentioned not trusting that fountain soda was sugar free. Well I don't even trust the butter.....I just stay away from it, but would like to ask if I could see the ingredient label could be nasty healthy spread passed off as butter......
