Cheat item caused horrible sweats

I've been eating 20-30 grams of carbs/day for about 2 1/2 months. Today I had my 2nd cheat item during all this time. It was a dessert I had planned for. Both times I've had the cheat item, I was DRIPPING in sweat. I didn't really feel bad... just really hot. And now I'm fine but just curious if this is a normal thing, or just the way my body reacts?

A couple weeks ago I cheated and had 2 bags of peanut butter M&M's. For a while afterward I almost felt sick.

It could be the blood sugar spike. Sweats and flushing are common symptoms.

I don't really experience that. I feel hungry just 3 hours after a high carb meal though (usually takes 5-6 hours) and I have a bigger appetite the day after. Also sometimes I wake up with a headache.

A little off topic but isn't that just the best? The candy I missed the most after going low-carb. I think I'll have some tomorrow night for my planned high-carb night.

That's happened to me, and I felt like I was hung over: headache, sweats, chills. I call it the Thanksgiving Fiasco of 2013 - 3 days of totally pigging out without thought. Gained 9 lbs and it took me 6 days to lose those. I said NEVER again and I haven't eaten off plan since... LIVE LEARN Move On -- cause we're LOSERS not Quitters!!!

Wishing all of us continue success on our personal LC WOE journeys!!

Yea, even if I wanted to cheat it isn't worth it anymore because of how it would make me feel. Not worth it at all.

Mixed feelings here about that one. It's kinda like the alcohol, sometimes when I'm hungover I tell myself "never again"... and then it happens again

Even without cheating I will feel a heat flush when I have a meal with higher than usual carbs. My DH can always tell as I will get red in the face and turn on the fan. Haven't had a "cheat" yet. Sometimes there is sweating involved.
