Adding carbs

I have found that after eating really low carb for the last year, and making ZERO weight loss progress, I have added back in a few carbs (*gasp) and cut back slightly on fat (*gasp again!).
Still eating low carb. 80 grams total carb a day... seems to be helping. Scale has gone down a few pounds.
Has anyone else had to do this? Is it possible I was eating way too much fat? I'm confused. Seems like everyone is eating less carbs and more fat....

Good news for you!

I don't know the answer.
I don't go out of my way to avoid fat, but I do measure so I know how much I am putting in coffee. It is possible to overeat fat, for sure. Too many fatbombs can become too many calories.

I think it's possible. If calories are high, you won't always lose weight while on a low carb diet.

I think that calories (as in too much fat for example) do matter. But who cares what I think.... It is what the good Dr. A says in his book: when he talks about LC he always stresses that you should only eat when you are until you feel satisfied..."not a license to over eat" he says....
Also, when he talks about 'fat fast' it is ONLY for those metabolic resistant ( he specifically talks against wanting to just lose faster) and he limits the calories to 1000.
