IF Questions

Hello All!
I wanted to ask those of you who intermittent fast, or those who have done it in the past, how did it affect your rate of weight loss? I have read a ton of information on it but I am curious if it helps/helped with a stall or slow losses? I have read the great reviews of having better control and mental clarity. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

You might want to head over to the JUDDD board to ask this question. They do alternate day fasting and will answer any questions you may have.

I have done JUDDD in the past and really like it. I am returning to it now. Wishing you much success!

imo if you are doing it to help cut calories then you are ok.
for example you are not eating untill lunch time, then you are eating a normal (not bulk) amount of calories later in the day.
But if you try it out then end up eating 5000calories of crap because you are so hungry then its not so bad..

a hint of advise though is try eating VLC before, because the deep ketosis always helps not be so extremely hungry.

Thanks, Y'all! I am already eating vlc and I had read it was better to already be in that state. I agree, it is important to not binge during the eating window.

I am one of those weird post-menopausal ladies who lose glycogen then stabilize on LC. I spent almost three months stalled at the end of 2011, then jumped over to JUDDD and ended up losing 62 pounds. Something about the alternate day eating made a huge difference for my metabolism.

I love IF - and use many different patterns (Fast-5, 5:2, ADE) depending on the circumstances and what my body seems to need. Yes to mental clarity and lots of energy and feeling great even when it is 04:00 PM and I have 'eaten' 100 calories of HWC in my morning coffee and nothing else.

I did not "lose" weight. I evicted it. It is gone and it ain't coming back!

JUDDD cares about calories. JUDDD does not care what you eat. Your body probably does.
