Episode of dizziness

Hello everyone
Im on day 4 of a restart and tonight I had a quick episode of dizziness lasting like 3 seconds where I thought I was going to fall over.. it hasn't happened since. I wasn't hungry or anything... could this be a culprit of induction flu? Has anyone else experience a dizzy feeling early into induction?

It sounds like your electrolytes are low.

On low carb diets, you really need to up your sodium, potassium and magnesium intake. Find a supplement for the magnesium, try No Salt for potassium and table salt for the sodium. There are also no sugar sports drinks. It will also help to eat more foods rich in those micros.

The other option is that you might have really dropped your calories. High fat diets can make you not hungry but sometimes you may still need to eat.

Regarding the salt, today I decided to start buying salted butter. I was doing tomatoes and adding salt for a bit but decided I'm not interested in doing it too often. So I decided salted butter might be a better idea.

No one can be sure what the cause of the dizziness was and it may not have anything to do with your diet so it is best to mention this to your doctor. Its better to be safe then sorry.. especially if the dizziness persists. You can even call the doctors office and talk it over with the nurse to see if they want to see you.
