Canola oil

As I have posted on the low carb budget thread, this week is tough. I have about 10 dollars to spend for food.... until 17th. Anyhow, curious if others have seen an adverse reaction when eating foods grilled with canola oil? I am just curious if it is the "worst" of all altrnatives. I would much rather just make my own, but in a pinch, do you guys have it?

I am trying to find a way to make it until my next paycheck Usually.. not this bad in grad school, but lost 10 days of work. Ugh!

I might have to get some grill chicken that is made with canola oil at the luncheon, what do you think?

I used canola oil for years simply because...well I did. I think I bought it when I first moved out on my own and then I was a creature of habit. There are canola fields everywhere where I grew up so I probably just thought it was the veg oil to have lol. Anyways...I survived using canola oil for almost twenty years until I started keto and researching fat and switched to cocnut oil etc. ...if it fits your budget for 10 days I think you will survive and prosper *grin*

Considering the circumstances, I think it would be ok. You have to do what you have to do sometimes. Just hang in there while your cash is tight.

Can;t seem to let go of the canola oil issue! So annoying. I bought a grill chicken breast that was 1.25 on the go today, and it had some canola oil on it.... it is REALLY OK!!

yes it is OK
I still use canola oil when cooking
if the sale is good and I need oil then it is what is happening in this house.
a VERY little bit of oil goes a long way in cooking chicken. it is fine!!!
