Davinci/Torani - Flavors??

So any opinion as to which is better Davinci or Torani?

Also has anyone tried these Davinci Flavors and did you like?
Caramel, Gingerbread, Peach, Dulce de Leche, Pumpkin Pie.

Thanks

I find them pretty interchangeable. and if you like one better than the other, it will probably be flavor by flavor, not as a whole brand line. sorry, just gotta try them.

now I hated Gingerbread for awhile, then I started loving it. go figure.

Caramel is very useful. Salted Caramel less so, just add some salt the times you want it salty.

Peach is the worst sort of artificial peach flavor, to me

Dulce de Leche is sort of blah but nice

Pumpkin Pie is another big winner, great for drinks or flax muffins

It depends on the flavor. I generally prefer Da Vincis, but Torani French Vanilla, for example, is phenomenal. Da Vinci Pumpkin Pie Spice is good, and caramel isn't bad, but I'm looking to order Torani Salted Caramel since the reviews are great. Peach is delicious, especially in Italian soda

I have Da Vinci Coconut, Vanilla, Caramel, Peppermint Patty, Almond, Eggnog, Hazelnut, and Praline. All are quite delicious, though Hazelnut is probably my least favorite and I think I slightly prefer the Torani version.

Really, they're mostly interchangeable, but a few flavors are better in one or the other. It depends on your tastes, as well.

I like Torani the best. I really like the gingerbread & french vanilla.

I make a cake batter frappe using either vanilla or gingerbread and it is delish for just a few carbs.

So far, of the 4 or 5 Torani flavors we've bought, vanilla is the only one I use. Chocolate doesn't add anything to coffee in my opinion. We have one with cinnamon, but I don't want that one either! We have caramel, and salted caramel both also in the sugar free flavor, but I haven't cracked the seal on those yet.

Never seen DaVinci syrups around here, but Torani is readily available at every grocer and also sometimes at Ross, TJ Maxx, etc.

I go to the Business Costco near me and they have both brands for about $4 a bottle. I buy the DaVinci because it is a little cheaper but also has more choices in the SF flavors. I don't drink coffee so I use mine in tea and whip cream. I use the vanilla as a tea sweetener for my black teas. I also like fruit teas so I add strawberry or raspberry to sweeten those and then add some hwc. Tastes like a warm fruit pie. I also like to make italian sodas with them using the sf flavored bubbly waters.

I've tried several but now just stick to the Torani French vanilla which I think is better than DaVinci's and Davinci's caramel. It tastes pretty much the same as Torani but it has zero carbs where Torani's version has 1gm of carb.

I don't like sweet coffee, but I use both in my sour cream almond/flax muffins. Yummy.

They both taste good to me. I buy DaVinci flavors at Netrition that I can't find locally at World Market, which only carries Torani. I like all the ones you listed, but I've not tried the Peach. I use the Dulce de Leche (along with French Vanilla) in the Cream Cheese Muffins.

My other favorites are, but not limited to :

*Salted Caramel
*Blueberry
*English Toffee
*Cookie Dough
*Eggnog

Man - I just got lucky - picked up Torani Gingerbread and Peppermint for 1/2 price! Guess they are considered a Holiday item so they were clearing them.

(at Hen House).

I have went thru almost a whole bottle of Davinci's sf chocolate this month. I have been using it instead of AS.
I really like it.

Next month I think I will get chocolate and coconut if I can find it!

In case you didn't know Netrition (sponsor of this site I think) ships for a flat $5 rate. They have tons of lc stuff. Quite a deal if you are ordering a few things. (especially considering gas these days). And they have many of the SF syrups. Think it's Davinci brand though).

I prefer Torani. I don't like DaVinci's really. The S'mores is probably my favorite flavor. If you have a World Market locally, they carry Torani.

Pumpkin pie is kind of worthless to me. It just taste like pumpkin pie spice. I've had it in Torani and DaVincis and I just don't like it. Carmel is ok, it's just boring to me.

I would start out with regular vanilla and see if you like the brand before you start spending money on different flavors.

Oh BTW the Torani Peach is really good in ice tea.

I just ordered the S'more flavor because of a thread here a while back. Should be here next week. I'm thinking of a mixture of cream cheese, whipped cream and the syrup.

I'm a Torani man. I've only had the sugar free vanilla, but after reading these reviews, I'm curious to try the French vanilla and caramel as well.
