Zevia

I just heard that Zevia will be the only soda sold in Oakland at baseball games...patrons can still get pepsi from the fountain service...I just hope they keep the bathrooms ready, as the first few times I had stevia I had really bad tummy trouble. I fear it may cause some for others. I am not intolerant to E in anything else, just the soda. Maybe I have built up a tolerance now, but I haven't tried it in awhile...I think it could be a step in the right direction to introduce a sweetener that most do not consume, as they don't have to buy it because the pepsi is still available at the concession.
But, I am just saying it could be a long car ride home for some who need to adjust to the sweetener.

What do you all think? Anyone else have this reaction to Zevia?

I drink it rarely, and only the ginger root beer flavor, but never had any problems.

I've never had an issue with Zevia or any other product using stevia. Now, xylitol is another story.
I have switched to Hansen's Blue Sky stevia sweetened soda, though. I LOVE the creamy root beer and Jamaican ginger ale. I allow myself a couple a week as an afternoon treat at work.

Along ith the stevia there is erythritol in zevia...I don't have any issues with truvia or erythritol at home but the sodas played havoc on my gut for some reason...maybe it's time to give em another shot.

I bake with erythritol (when I get around to it...lol), and like it as a sweetener. But I cannot stand the taste of Zevia. To me, there's something particularly repulsive about it. Couldn't drink more than a couple of sips---and this is from a die-hard soda drinker! Sooooo...that's my reaction to Zevia!

Love it - that's our go-to soda at home.

My 5 yo daughter doesn't drink sugary soda and is allowed an occasion Zevia. She calls the Zevia cola - "blue soda" because of the color of the can. It's like a major treat for her.
