These discussions are always so fascinating for the variety of responses. White wine always seems to make me lose faster. This might be because I tend to eat less if I'm drinking. I can usually count on a pound or two loss after a night of wine or liquor.

I think I eat about the same if I'm drinking. That, and after I finished the whole bottle of white wine, I'd have moved on to the Miller Lites in the refrigerator...

Now that's a lot of metabolism-disrupting and empty calorie intake!

I see alcohol like I see soda, actually. Its to the point where I could drink a beer, or I could drink a sugar coke, and I think the beer would be worse.

I just think people on this forum need to think about it if they are stalled. If alcohol is an enjoyable part of their lowcarb lifestyle and they are still easily losing weight, there is no reason to give it up! But I think its the FIRST thing to give up (before other healthy carbohydrates) if weight loss slows or stops. That's just my 2 cents.
