Salt retention+weight training account for 2 lb gain??!
Has anyone experienced water retention on atkins despite the lack of carbs due to the high sodium intake? I've been eating bacon, some mustard, etc. and adding sea salt so I am consuming a bit of sodium and also weight training a little and doing cardio, some running but nothing crazy..I just feel better with some exercise. However, I am up from 114.8--->116.1 after not weighing myself for 2 days. Is this normal? I used to be able to eat 1800-2000 with higher carbs and lose, because I was running 4 miles a day, 6-7 days a week. now, I'm doing a lot more walking, elliptical, weights, barely running and eating 30ish carbs..am in ketosis and eating 1800ish as well. I see many of you eat around 1000-1300 a day and I don't know if I can maintain on that little food for the rest of my life..is that what it takes to lose though?
