First 2 weeks of induction done

I just made it through my first 2 weeks of induction and I am trying to decide what to do. On the plus side I feel better over all and have a handle on the hunger issue for the first time ever. On the downside, I have only lost 3 pounds and I have stopped exercising because I wear out way quickly. So I am trying to decide if I want to try a go at the Atkins '72 approach or just move into OWL. 3 pounds is not a lot of loss in the first two weeks, even though I followed it strictly. If weightloss slows down in OWL, I am thinking I might need to give '72 Atkins Induction a try to see if this will make me lose more. Any suggestions?

Hi Jessica. What did you do as your first induction? I ask because you say your not sure if you should do Atkins '72 induction. In my experience, '72 is the way to go.

I did induction by the New Atkins Made Easy book. Which let you have cream cheese, and the Atkins shakes/bars/treats. I stopped the Atkins products early on because I stopped losing, but I still didn't end up losing as much as I would have liked. I really think I am going to give the 72 a try and see how that goes for the next 2 weeks!

I lose better on the '72 plan. I hope you will give it a try.

Cfine, I am going to give it a try! The approach is a little different than the one I did so maybe it will give me better results! I have nothing but pounds to lose!

Don't freak out if you don't lose in week 3 - it seems to be very common.

I didn't lose in week 3 (I never do), but since week 4 my losses have been steady.

(I follow DANDR, btw, which is less restrictive than '74, but more restrictive than Atkins Made Easy. I am still sticking to induction levels, though, and plan to keep it that way for the time being.)
