First time hungry in 13 weeks

Today is the first time in 13 weeks that I've been hungry, even after eating fat.
It's suppertime, and I'm going to fry ground beef with soy and oyster sauce, and shredded cabbage. I"ll use a 1/4 pound, I hope that's enough to satisfy. I may have to take desperate measures if it doesn't.
The main difference in eating yesterday was asparagus for supper. Hope that's not what set this up.
Interesting, I see that when I added asparagus previously, I wrote this: "Just adding more veggies--peppers, cauliflower, asparagus, etc, instead of just greens. It's just that since adding them, I'm more hungry than without them.
So, maybe this problem is caused by the 6 or so stalks. No asparagus tonight.
I bought a pound on sale, .99 instead of $4.99 a pound. I may give the rest away.
But,
I hope this is a harbinger of more weight loss, getting off this plateau.
I'd sure appreciate it if some of you would send good thoughts my way.

So I guess it's not the FIRST time in the 13 weeks after all!

My view is that if you are hungry you should eat.
Eat more of on plan foods, but eat.
I think you are analyzing too much.
Eat!
I am sending you good thoughts and a load of love, of course.

If you feel the need to eat more then do so...

Just even out the carbs so you aren't eating more of those despite eating more.

Out of the veggies you listed, peppers (especially if red) have more carbs than asparagus. I eat both of those often, and have not noticed a hunger response, however we are all different. Still, as others have said - you should be alright eating more than usual once every 13 weeks! (edit: OK, twice!)

I get hungry when I eat vegetables. It stinks but it's my reality right now.

Thanks, All. I got through last night staying on plan, and today I'm still hungry, but it's not the craving that it was yesterday. I think that kind of hunger is what got me here in the first place. Breakfast so far, is sauteed greens and bptea, and water. Sadly, though I had a successful day yesterday, the scale went up over a pound this morning.

Bounces are quite normal, to be expected.
At least that is true for lots of us.
If the upward bounces are distressing, try weighing less often.
There is not always a direct connection between what you ate yesterday and what you weigh this morning. The scale can lie.

I know many people (myself included) get unusually hungry right before a dramatic loss. Maybe the WHOOSH fairy is coming to visit you?

Sadly, that whoosh didn't happen this time, but a little of that did come back off.
Today is a new day!

I get really hungry before a weight loss. I hope that's what you're experiencing

Again, no change in the scale, but the jeans I was filling "nicely" a few days ago, now feel and look so big, I don't want to wear them. And I don't wear tight clothes.

I really must have been filled with hot air to go down this much with so little scale change!
