I just made 50 of these things a couple weeks ago. I don't always have them, but in a day where I'm not eating much (which is a lot of the time) ill just pop one.
The reason is to offset the high protein with more fat. On LC you want more fat than protein.
I made mine with coconut oil, almond butter, butter, PB2 and some chopped peanuts with a chocolate topping. Really quite amazing

I looked these up and just recently decided to try them. I have been trying to eat a bit less protein and more fat as I think I had been overdoing protein. I mix butter with cocoa powder (quite a bit) and add a bit of mint extract and some stevia....not enough to make it really sweet, just enough to make it a bit sweet. I find having one really helps take the edge of sweets craving. I spoon them onto a piece of parchment paper and put them in the freezer....after they harden you can pop them in tupperware and keep them in the freezer. I find they don't seem to slow down my weight loss if I have a couple (each one is the size of say, a small cookie). I try to make them good enough to satisfy a sweet craving but don't add the higher carb delicious stuff like peanut butter or cream or more stevia that would make me eat the whole batch in one day!
