I stopped in at the store to try on a dress (a dress!!) that I had seen on the website that I loved. I only had two choices in sizes - 0x or 3x. 0x was the one that fit the nicest!!!!

Today was one of those days... Does anyone else have days like this? I swear I could feel myself shrinking! Really!

I'm not sure what makes these days occur but they are wonderful! Today I was wearing a top I'd bought a while back to shrink into. Today was the first time I wore it. I could feel myself standing up tall, feel how my clothes fit well & looked good. I felt smaller than usual. I felt so good all day it was hard to keep from smiling. So I smiled. A lot.

I am so excited! And it is just going to get better!

I had to put a string back into a pair of workout shorts....previously the elastic held them up just find. Darn elastic must be wearing out because at my last workout with them, they kept wanting to fall down.....

More Season Apparel Choices. No longer have to wear my 6XL hefty sweatpants in 100+ degree heat that i have done for many years past.
Past Sunday and feeling comfortable wearing cooler clothes outdoors. Brought the shirt (3x) 3 months ago and my first time wearing it and already feels like it swallowing me up. No fashion sense so still working out some type of half decent theme lol. NSV like these and other positive experiences that make it worth to continue in moving forward.

kay9 that is so awesome! I haven't been able to wear shorts for 15 years and I look forward to being able to wear them in the hot summers we have here (not as hot your area though ).

I disagree you have fashion sense!

My best girlfriend came to pick me up today for shopping and lunch - she's not one to hand out compliments, but today when I got in her car she said, "Wow, you look SO good!!" and she said it again at lunch Things are really working...people are noticing I feel so good. I've haven't weighed myself, but I've gone from a very tight 18 to a 12 since February.
BTW lunch was amazing - I had a Gorgonzola bacon burger (no bun) on top of a garden salad with homemade blue cheese dressing. AMAZING.

I'm about 3 weeks into induction and I don't feel tired and stupid anymore?! This isn't self deprecating humor, I'm quite serious. I was depressed, exhausted mentally and physically, could not pay attention at work, and was horriblely forgetful.

I had no clue how bad of a funk I was in until about a week ago when I realized I could figure things out at work and started getting things done. It's not just confirmation bias either, people around me are saying that I am more active and pleasant to be around. My 13yo daughter called me out on being "Peppy"

Went in for a physical this week. Still waiting on bloodwork results. But my BP was 128/76, my weight on their scale with clothes was 241. Last August my BP was 144/88 and I weighed 290.

I'm very curious to see how my cholesterol, etc looks. But my BP is my biggest non-scale achievement.

I've lost 60 lbs. with 40 more to go. I love having my pants get too big. Now wearing size 10's. I can't wait to get into 8's (I'm short only 5ft.)

Just had a total knee replacement on my left knee. If I had not lost the 60lbs. my surgery would have not happened. I love it that I can now walk without pain.

I love when my family and friends call me "skinny." )

Shopping in my closet and for new clothes is fun.
I have finally started dressing nicer. Got my ears pierced again (had let them grow back), wearing younger looking clothes. I just feel better about myself.

That's hilarious I know exactly what you mean. I did that to some big jeans so I could still use them for doing yard work.

My non-scale victories lately have been clothes shopping in my own closet (being able to wear those clothes in the very back that you promised yourself you'd get into again someday.)

Most recent NSV: I bought this long-sleeve shirt about 5 years ago from a department store that was going out of business because I thought it was so cool looking with the celtic cross and all that stuff. However to my dismay, I couldn't wear it for more than 5 minutes at a time because of my gut. It made wearing the shirt so uncomfortable. I started low carb woe on April 3, 2013. I found this shirt in the back of the closet last week and tried it on. It feels amazing. So amazing that I have worn the shirt everyday for the past 4 days after work. I'm even wearing it now as I'm typing this.

Closet shopping is more satisfying than store shopping!

Maybe you can dry it on hot when you finally do wash it!

I took my son to our local AAA league baseball game yesterday. He really wanted to go on the inflated slide (one of those huge ones) but he wasn't quite coordinated enough to climb the ladder thingy. The guy running it said I could go with him and I didn't give it more than 5 secs of thought about it- I hopped right up. I wasn't too embarrassed or actually worried that i would pop the thing.

Doing more with my son is truly one of the greatest nsv for me

I am starting over.. This is the start of week 4. In the short amount of time I have noticed a significant reduction in my stomach which I attribute to water loss and my shirts and under clothes are fitting looser. Cant wait until the pain in my knees quits. You folks are amazing. To the member who was talking about getting out of a 4X pants and 5X shirt, that is me now.. I know what you are talking about.

I guess it wasn't my imagination after all! I AM shrinking!

While talking with a neighbor the other day she asked, "You've lost more weight haven't you?"

And taking my monthly measurements today confirmed it!

Bring on June! I am ready!
