I just walked out of my pajama bottoms! And while they were super comfy I am happy to sacrifice them as my gut shrinks and can't hold them up!

That I can go away for 2.5 days telling myself I will eat at will and find out that "at will" wasn't any more than I thought it would be and that I missed being at home and eating what is now NORMAL for me. Before, "normal" would have been "at will" and I wasn't any happier.

Body is sore. On Friday, went for a 5 mile walk/jog, trying to even out the amount of jogging and walking to about 50/50. But I fear I am not a runner...and besides a little muscle stiffness, my knee really hurt. But still better than a sore back from being too fat!

Scale still not really moving, but am finding that everything I try on, needs to be a 34 waist. Was between 38-40 7 months ago.

So many things...

Going to bed & taking up so much less space in it! I notice this almost every night. It just seems so cool to be so much smaller than I used to be.

Noticing bones showing...

Muscles peeking out and showing me a glimpse of what is to come! Hello old friends!

Three NSV this week!

- The topic of convo at my gym is how much weight I've lost (per the gym owner's comments this morning ). I mentioned to a fellow gym-goer about a month ago that I'd be permanently moving back to the US in September, and yesterday, she called me over and said ''I hope the immigration officials will let you through at the airport cause you look like a completely different person than a few months ago!" And she's completely right - I look like the daughter of the woman in my passport photo LOL

- I am noticing bones that were completely overwhelmed by fat before. The latest one is on my wrist - I actually noticed it while working out at the gym and I freaked out. I thought I'd dislocated a joint or something until I came home and compared my hand with my skinny mom's and realized it's just my skeleton rising to the surface!

- As I gained weight, my shoe size grew steadily. I just assumed my feet were just growing and getting wider (due to wearing too many flip flops) since they were not particularly fat. Well, I tried on some of my mom's sneakers yesterday, and I couldn't believe that I could put my feet in her size 8-8.5s! Granted, they're about 1/2 size too small to wear comfortably since they slightly pinch the toes, but they are like 98% there and I wore one of them to the gym today. I'm completely shocked because this time last year, I was wearing size 10s only. Even my 9.5s were way too small. It seems like when I do go shoe-shopping, I'll have to try on size 9s and maybe 9.5s.

I was in a store where I wouldn't have even looked at the cloths last year because I knew their biggest size wouldn't fit. Yesterday their biggest size was too big! Huzzah! Also, my body is able to do things again...crossing my legs, bending over, findings comfy sleep positions...every other day I notice something new and better about my body and what it can do.

I now have to use the third row of hooks on my bras as opposed to the first (that were too tight anyway). Very excited about that!

The most important non scale victory for me is health related: removing most glutens, wheats, dairy, eggs, sugars (even artificial ones), fruits and some veggies has made it easier for me to breathe. My respiratory system is not 100% healed yet, but I have been able to (apparently safely without harmful side effects) eliminate one drug completely, reduce one a little, reduce dependence on another by at least 1/4, and I'm hoping to be able to reduce dependence on yet another with a goal of getting off it for daily use.

went to Lane bryant to buy a pair or 2 of jeans to start the school year. I can still wear a couple pairs of capri's I have to start the year but they are starting to get big and having a couple pairs of jeans would be perfect. they ended up only having ONE pair in my size and I was not going to buy 2 pairs exactly the same. I would have bought the same style if they had a different shade. anyway, so I went ahead and bought the one and it is most likely the last pair of jeans I ever buy in that store. I bought the smallest size they carry. also, tried on some shirts in a regular store in the regular department and am now able to find some that I can wear. yeah!

Good stuff, everyone! My clothes are so baggy... But what's most important is...

No more migraines. No more asthma. No more arthritis. Honestly, these chronic ailments are GONE! I have more energy. I sleep better. I LOOK better. Doing this Low Carb thing for four months, I discovered I have a (non-Celiac) sensitivity to wheat. Grains cause inflammation. Removing wheat from my diet has allowed my body to heal in so many ways. And for this I am truly, truly grateful.

PS I'm still working on the dairy.
