I made this casserole by frying 8 oz chopped mushrooms, a little chopped onion, a clove of garlic and 18 oz ground beef until cooked. Add 6 oz of chopped tomato. Add spices of choice. I added paprika, pepper, salt and dried majoram. Then add 8 oz cream cheese and a little red wine. Leave to simmer.
Meanwhile chop a head of cauliflower into bitesized pieces in salted water till cooked. Drain and add to the beef mixture. Mix well and put the mixture into an ovenproof dish. Cover with a good layer of grated cheese. I used Parmesan and cheddar. Broil in the oven until golden brown and bubbly. This serves 6 people easily. Xxx
