Keeping it real

I have had my share of successes and failures during my time here at LCF. I love coming here for support, information, recipes, etc.

I have really struggled since the summer to get on track and stay there. I'm not sure why I keep eating things that I know will derail me for a day, two days, sometimes two weeks. You get my point. I know that so many here have had this same struggle, but I just needed to write this to hold myself accountable.

I do best when I just stick to my plan and don't try to go off plan for a special occasion. I know I can do it because I've done it many times. When I am eating well, I don't have the uncontrollable cravings that come with high carb foods. I know that this has been said many times by many people.

So...I am going to weigh in tomorrow and change my profile to my current weight. Usually when I do this it becomes a good motivator to get back down to my lowest weight. I am sad to have to change it to reflect my weight gain. Sometimes doing the hard thing is the best thing for you.

Way to keep yourself accountable! Remember to live one day at a time; mistakes are almost ALWAYS educational.
I recently ordered The Diet Cure based on recommendations from LCF members. I think it may be the salvation for those of us who continually find ourselves off-plan.
The most important thing is that you're here, you're posting, and you're being honest with yourself. Don't get discouraged!

That's my goal this week, too. We can do it! I like what you're saying and doing, keeping it real.
You 're an inspiration!

I think it's great that you can acknowledge that you're struggling. We are the only ones, ultimately that can hold ourselves accountable. A new year is coming in a hurry, let's make it a great one! That's my goal!

I've been struggling too, you're not alone! As in, three servings of chocolate and cookies last night that weren't on plan. And I'm not an off-plan, yoyo dieter, never have been. But sometimes are just harder than others

Keep working at it, don't give up! There's nothing else for it but to keep moving forward and never quit on your health.
