Cookbooks for the holidays??

I really really want to stay low carb for the holidays. However I want to feel like I can actually enjoy the holidays by baking/cooking stuff and still lose weight!!!

Can you guys recommend any good low carb cookbooks that don't require a lot of ingredients for holiday recipes???

Thanks guys!!!!

Look at the paleo ones. I have several. You could also check out Maria's site. Tammy Credicott has a couple out that are good. I made her lemon cookies and her orange ones. They were awesome. Do you have a book store near by? I like to look through them first. See if there are enough recipes to warrant buying them..

If you dont find a cookbook you want, try the recipe room here. What carby foods are you wanting? There just may be a low carb version already here.

I cant have Thanksgiving without stuffing .. so I make the following stuffing every year:

Chicken and Stuffing (tastes better than the real thing) - LowCarbFriends Recipes)

I make mockafoni and cheese from Linda's site (not sure of new rules here .. regarding if I can post link to Linda's (genaw) site ??? ) except I leave out the onions and the chives. Sometimes I like to make it with some bleu cheese in it also .. I am a BIG bleu cheese fanatic.

Dotties Green bean casserole is at Lindas site also. It is AWESOME and a must have for my daughter. Even though she does not eat in the lc woe , she doesnt miss the old carby casserole I used to make. Though .. I always have the fried onions on the side for her to add to whatever she likes.

So many great recipes here and at Linda's .. I highly recommend them.

I almost forgot to mention Funeral Potatoes:

George Stella has several great cookbooks that you can find online along with his recipes. There is also another fab cookbook called "The Low Carb Gourmet" that we love. Also check out this blog called All Day Long I Dream About Food -- it is written by a low carb blogger and her recipes are excellent.

Thank you for telling us about All Day Long I Dream About Food. This looks like a nice place to find something different. At first I was concerned when I saw all the sweets ... but then I found many things there I can make with easily found ingredients.
