Great question and I can't do it. First five...

butter, a cow, eggs, onion, garlic

I would miss salmon, pork, bacon and tomato too much and likely be able to trade some of that cow with some of you!

This thread is on the N.K. forum and that means that most people on this forum (main board) didn't see it. Just a coincidence.

This is more or less what I've lived on for the last 14 months...

Eggs, Beef, Pork, Mushrooms, Avocado, Artichoke hearts

I realize that's 6, but this is the actual shopping list - without a desert island mandate.

Ummmm, if you don't mind me asking, how did you all get fat if these are your very favorite foods???

My list makes it pretty clear how I got fat:

-- chocolate cake -- the cheapy kind, but no need for much in the way of frosting
-- gr cheese sand -- the expensive kind, thick yummy bread and good cheese, lots of butter
-- loaded mashed potato
-- chicken and dumplings, those big fluffly bisquick dumplings that my great-grandmother used to make
-- butter cookies

Thanks for posting this Skeeter it's a really entertaining thread. My five favorites would be:

Houston's spinach-artichoke dip with tortilla chips
medium rare roast prime rib
loaded baked potato
Nigella's no-bake cherry cheese cake
dark chocolate covered almonds

I want to sit next to Rubidoux, cuz it looks like we'll be the only two fatties on the island.

I'd have to replace butter with fruit. Have cut out dairy and can finally breathe and cravings have gone bye-bye.
